    2. Short stories of murder that occurred in the South between the 1880's and 1930's. The Author did a wonderful research job, you can tell in the details when presenting the case. Many of the stories are unsolved and one was rumored to the work of Jack the Ripper but was proven to not be true due to weapon choice and the eyewitness description of the fleeing suspect. Not a book for everyone, it is filled with sicking and gory acts of murder.
