    1. Dave Morgus is an eccentric musician, who is searching for something he can’t quite find and getting involved in various problematic situations while searching for it. He’s fragile but definitely not weak and has some serious self-esteem and other issues to deal with, most stemming from a prior abusive relationship. Richard is a metal worker, a strong, confident, handsome, well-to-do man who seems to have everything together. He and Dave were together some years back, almost a decade, and it [...]

    2. Very similar to Sean Michael’s BDSM booksWarning: This review might contain what some people consider SPOILERS. Rating: 8/10PROS: - Similarities between this and Sean Michael’s writing are obvious by the second page: the choppy writing style, the uber confident and possessive Dom, the frenetic sub. Since I love Michael’s Hammer books, I had a feeling right off the bat that I would at least like this one, if not love it. (see cons below also)- The characters are open with each other about t [...]

    3. I really enjoyed this story of Richard and Dave. It is a D/s relationship with light kink that included TLC.Richard and Dave were in a relationship eight years ago. Dave one day asked Richard to tie him up and Richard refused. Dave was too young and inexperienced to know what he wanted and Richard didn't know how to give Dave what he needed. So they split up only to meet by accident eight years later. Now Richard is a confident well sot after Dom who knows how to give Dave what he needs. Now all [...]

    4. I struggled with how to rate this one, mainly because there were some aspects that I really liked and others that made me freaking crazy. I liked the characters and I liked them together. I liked the plot and the drama and I liked that I had never read a D/s story that introduced me to the caring aspects of the D quite like this book. What bothered me was how weak and almost old-fashioned girl-shrieky that Dave seemed to get, to me he seemed stronger at the beginning of the book than even the mi [...]

    5. This one was god-awful. I suppose it had a good premise (two lovers reconnect a few years after a disastrous break-up), but the execution of that premise needed an editor's hand. The grammatical, punctuation, and other errors in general were staggering. I just OMG, it was downright offensive how many there were.Even the sex was blah. The author always referred to coming as 'need' or 'heat', which I found strange to read. Their take on what constituted a 'heavy' BDSM scene was also way below par. [...]

    6. This story seemed very reminiscent of something I’d expect to see from Sean Michael. This was very much erotica with a little bit of story as a backdrop. While I enjoyed it, many of the parts were very repetitious including the somewhat annoying phrase “it’s in the job description” (i.e, it’s a Dom’s job to do). The book contained a number of mistakes including both main characters ending up with different names. Good thing I’m a sucker for smut!

    7. This book is about sweet, tender, romantic BDSM. It may sound like an oxymoron, but it isn't. I loved every page!
