    1. I'm just finishing up this short 70 page book. I've read a number of theological books in the last couple of years that have forced me to change the way I think. In that sense this one is like jet fuel, high octane. I'd imagine it possible for one to dig their heels into their existing constructs and discard what Kruger presents, but I find this the most liberating, realistic presentation of the gospel I've encountered. A word of caution, if you don't want to be challenged, don't pick it up!

    2. This book addresses the staggering flaws in western Christianity. More than that, it explains plainly how this warped and tarred view of God's heart came to be. Man himself, through anxiety, has created a split personality god who cannot and will not show mercy to man because of mans sin. That he is a temper tantrum throwing deity whose emotions are easily swayed. Man has superimpose a legal structure over the heart of the triune God and expound the death of Jesus under the rubric of law and jus [...]

    3. I love this book. It did a splendid job of making me think, and that deeply much of the time. C. Baxter Kruger is passionate about the restoration of all things that are found in the finished work of the cross. He draws a clear picture of the trinitarian view of God working together to bring mankind back to the place where he wanted them to be as sons and daughters of God. I found this book to be quite challenging to read, having to stop and ponder the ideas quite frequently. The only drawback I [...]

    4. This is a good book as a starting place for the study of Trinitarian Theology. This is a short book succinctly discussing "the Fall" of Adam, its effect on all humanity and the intervention of (The Trinitarian) God through the Son (Jesus) and the adaption of humanity. That was an attempt to describe the book's subject matter in short order. It touches on other subjects and discusses God's plan and relational Christianity. It is a good place as I said for study to start on Trinitarian, relational [...]

    5. It is FinishedLove love loved this book. Yes I do recommend. You discover God's no that was completed with the Yes of Jesus. God so loved the world

    6. Sometimes good theology makes for a lousy read. In Jesus and the Undoing of Adam, Dr. C. Baxter Kruger explores the redemptive work of Jesus through the prism of examining the Trinity relationship—you know, that casual word used in Christian circles to explain the equal yet differing relationship between God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. If you don’t know, throughout Christian history, 90% of heresies—not renunciation of faith, but rather provocative beliefs that clash [...]

    7. In this short work Baxter offers a reflection on the works of St. Athanasius and T.F. Torrance in order to reveal the beauty of the good news of Christ Jesus. He develops a beautiful image of the Trinity and sets the Son of God's incarnation in this wider context of self-giving love and God's own desire for humanity's union with Him. Only after understanding God's actions and intentions in this way will His response to the Fall of Adam and Israel's own journey in relationship with Him make sense [...]

    8. Absolutely essential reading for ANYONE in the Western Christian tradition. It's truly amazing how much Kruger packs into this 70-page knockout. Essentially, Kruger captures the heart of early, pre-Augustinian church theology and argues for the need for it in our Evangelical setting. When we lose the robust vision of the Trinity that the early church seems to have had, we begin creating harmful, distorted theologies that impact how we are able to respond to God. I find Kruger's argument very con [...]

    9. An easy, quick, clear and uplifting read on the very loving, joyful, and beautiful relationship of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit with the original intent sharing it with mankind through adoption (and incarnation), and how legalizing God and perpetuating a dualistic view of Him can be very devastating and an oft-reason many Christians are facing issues of "assurance." Would recommend it as a good introduction to Trinitarian theology.

    10. Great book, takes you on a journey on how God undid what Adam had done at the fall. Brings common fallacies into light through a trinitarian perspective. Highly recommended.
