    1. RE Betrayal of Love - Diana Hamilton does the second chance marital reconciliation trope for her third HP outing. She has an h who got caught up in a whirlwind romance that led to an impromptu marriage with a businessman H. Only to run out on it 8 weeks later when she came back to the H's family home and her vicious mother in law sent her to the H's room to see him in bed with the goddaughter the mother in law preferred for a daughter in law. Needless to say the h had terrible traumas over that [...]

    2. Yeeeeaaaahhhhlet me forgive and forget all the slimy, wiggly, wormy creatures (my ex, his mother and his wannabe girlfriend) who were bent on destroying and almost succeeded in crushing my life, love and spirit, just because they could. This is all in the name of romance y'allRF.

    3. Intense, gripping read with a strong heroine and a Hero that is absolutely head over heels for the heroine.Married four years ago when she was only 18, they separated after 2 months of marriage because she found him in bed with OW. She flees, but never divorces him. He never divorces her. (Hmm und familiar) She lands on her feet, finds a place to call home, friends to help her and a terrific job. It was actually fun to see a very introverted, frightened 18 year old heroine grow into a self confi [...]

    4. Okay I have never wanted to slap someone so much. The h got on my nerves big time. If she just once was honest with her husband and let him know what was going on, we could have avoided this book. I really, really didn't like her. Yes she saw a naked woman in his bed. If I saw a naked woman in my husbands bed, he would have woke up when he heard the gun go off. /Drugged and all. And I would have called the police. His own mother roofied him. OMG. Seriously. What woman just walks away too? The le [...]

    5. Estranged husband and wife meet up again after four years when he is working on a merger with the company she works for.At 18 Fliss had been an insecure wilting new bride with little self confidence. What she did have was quickly beat out of her by an unsuccessful wedding night, her husband moving out of their bedroom after two weeks and a mother in law who lost no chance to inform her how inferior she was. Now she had confidence and a sense of worth. A successful job, and friends that loved her [...]

    6. Note to self:1. We only have his and the author's word for his faithfulness. We also have his word that he was a manwhore during separation. I believe the second. There's more proof of that than the first one.2. He stalked the heroine through the 4 years separation and he doesn't know she was faithful? Once again we have proof for her, none for him.3. With all the stalking he didn't think of getting her back when she was in near poverty? Oh wait, that must be punishment for leaving him, so yeah [...]

    7. Woah! That was fun. Second chance with some get-even after most evil mother's scheming and catching hubby in bed with another woman. Mm mm good.

    8. Decent novel, really angsty. I was impressed by the growth of the heroine and the hero wasn't all that bad either by the end of the novel.

    9. 2.5 stars really because the characters had potential. This book was mostly h's internal ramblings. And ramblings. And ramblings. We don't actually get to a story until the very last chapter and it all happened too quickly. My reaction was: "whoa, did I miss something?" I read 9 chapters and when I finally reached the last chapter, I felt like I had missed the whole book. If you were to go straight to the last chapter and only read that one, you wouldn't have missed anything. I brought the ratin [...]

    10. Diana Hamilton loves her second chance stories of a young woman marrying an older man and then having their marriage torpedoed by a scheming OW or a disgruntled mother-in-law. In this case, this heroine had both working against her. Also working against her - low self-esteem brought about by the constant rejection from her father and step mother. The hero was told a lot of lies about the heroine and because of his father's death, he hasn't had much time to finally chase her down. He does this in [...]

    11. Nice 2nd chance story, the couple continue to talk at cross purposes so the misunderstanding continues until almost the end. Though the wife is resentful, you can see that the husband loves her and wants a sincere reconciliation.
