    1. This is really a great book about Fort Lincoln at the time that Custer was its commander. It goes into all aspects of the fort including buildings, ordinance, daily life and personalities. Having just visited the fort this July and having taken the tours and seen the buildings and grounds, this book was a great reminder of the fond hours my wife and I spent. A must read for Custer fans. In fact, go visit Fort Lincoln with this book in hand. You'll love it!
