    1. To switch things up for myself, I read this young adult book by Beth Killian. It's pretty well written, just lacks a little depth. But, what would you expect from a book about stereotypical Hollywood/ LA? Eva is a smart, good girl who travels across America to spend some time with acting agent Aunt Laurel. Back home in Massachusetts, Eva got herself into some trouble that she can't quite remember committing, so she runs into Aunt Laurel's arms in LA, claiming to want to get into the acting busin [...]

    2. The first book in the 310 series from MTV books. As I told you I already read the third series of this without reading the first, so i thought that i might not like it. but its not.So in this book, Eva Cordes leaves her life in Massachusetts to come to the bright lights of Hollywood. She's come to live with her Aunt who is going to make her a star. She's running from her troubles at home and when she lands in L.A her life takes on some drastic changes.Lots of new people and trying to weed out th [...]

    3. Seventeen-year-old Eva Cordes graduates high school early, puts college on hold and flies to LA to live with her aunt, a renowned talent agent. Eva grew up in Arden, Massachusetts with her grandparents, not knowing who her dad is and rarely seeing her mother, who was a once famous model. After the embarrassing scandal which rocked her senior year, show biz looks good to Eva and if anyone can make her a star, Aunt Laurel can. Eva wants nothing more than to make everyone in Arden, Massachusetts dr [...]

    4. Reviewed by Jocelyn Pearce for TeensReadTooSome things have happened to Eva Cordes back in her high school that she doesn't want to deal with for the rest of the year. Eva's solution? Graduate a semester early and start a new life in Hollywood with her aunt, Laurel, an agent who represents some of the biggest teen stars. Eva is going to be a star! An added bonus? She might get to find out more about her mother, a model who dumped Eva with her grandparents as a small child. Life in Hollywood isn' [...]

    5. This book here is about a girl who moves to California and has to adjust to a new life. This book reminded me alot of a book I read when I was in the 7th grade, the things that I found similar was that both moved because of family issues. Another thing is that in both books they meet someone just like themselves and turn out to be great friends towards the end. The obstacles were different though one had an enemy of a teenager and the other the enemy of an adult. It goes to shows us how our auth [...]

    6. I have to say, I didn't expect anything much from this book. Though what I got was a great read. The main character, Eva was easy to like. She had quirky one-liners, and easy-to-relate-to problems. There were many pop-culture references, and since this book is from a few years ago, they were slightly outdated. You can still survive that though, because they were still as fresh as they were when they were written. The book itself completely lacked a plot. It was about Eva coming to Hollywood, and [...]

    7. Its really good and intresting. I got lost in the book because alot is happening and all Eva wants to know is the truth she just wants to know who her dad is because her mom never told her and she found a name but no picture so alot is going on, and in the end it kind of leaves you hanging because you just want to read more and know if Eva will ever find her real dad. so to find out whats going to happen, you have to read the next book to see what will be her reaction when she finds her dad so i [...]

    8. Dialogue. Lots of dialogue. Eva has some pretty famous relatives. Relatives she hopes will help her break into the movie/modeling/TV biz that is southern California. When she leaves her grandparents in Massachusetts for her Aunt Laurel in LA, she doesn't know that she'll be asked to babysit a ne'er-do-well socialite whose celebrity is just due to the lucky sperm club. Or that there's a good reason that she's not living with her talent-scout Aunt. Or that that when a client of another talent agen [...]

    9. Decently written young adult book all it lacks is a little bit of depth. It's a fast read that only took a couple of hours. Eva is our main character who had some trouble where she was living and her solution was to graduate a semester early and go live with her Aunt in Hollywood. While reading this book I got somewhat lost in it. So much is happening in the book that by the end you are left wanting to know if her problems are all solved. Definitely plan to check the next one out.

    10. Life As A Poser is a fun read but will leave you wanting answers so be prepared to go out an buy the sequel right away. This book is one of my all time favorite behind-the-scenes in Hollywood books. While the writing could afford to be a little deeper, the way it is now makes for a quick and fluffy read.

    11. A cute book that is for young adults. I really liked this book. It was an easy read and very fast to get through. Eva who is the main character is quite likable and somewhat quirky. I can't wait to read the second book.
