    1. Recipe for a "B Movie" Horror Novel:1 American Indian Burial Ground;1 Dilapidated Cabin;3 Gruesome Murders and 1 pinch of Suicide;1 Coma sufferer (former movie exec, raving bitch preferred); 1 Good-looking long suffering Husband (for best flavor, he should be a former male prostitute);1 slightly bruised Female Constable (traumatized Iraqi war vets preferred); 2 Cups of Crazy; and Several generous dashes of weirdness.Mix all ingredients together at a moderate pace and enjoy.

    2. This book has some memorable horrific scenes, but the book as a whole does not shine as brightly -- or should I say darkly -- as the rest of his work. Though this is not a bad book, I felt a little disappointed with it.

    3. Dead and Gone really hooked me! This is an in-your-face ghost story, visceral, and layered with a satisfying twist to it.

    4. I have to agree with others who've commented on this book. Pretty much a guy who lives in a haunted house, goes nuts, kills people. Not very original.

    5. I stayed up all night reading this book. It scared the shit out of me, left me feeling uneasy for days, and was a great ride! Horror supreme.
