    1. The first book in the One Night series by Allie Boniface. I give this something between 3 and 4 stars. I enjoyed the story but the weird style and flash backs turned me off. Plus I wanted to slap the heroine many times but I guess for the story to work she had to be an idiot.

    2. I was a little dubious about whether I would enjoy a story set over 24 hours as I’ve never read anything like it before but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.Maggie is a very confused and desperate person who has one last chance to contact her step brother to see if he is willing to help her so she doesn’t lose everything. She has had a complicated life that never seems to go right for her.Jack lost the love of his life when Maggie left him but he picked up the pieces and carried on, [...]

    3. More reviews at The Story Within The StoryMaggie Doyle is about to lose everything if she can’t come up with the money to pay off the bank. On the other hand, Jack Major is rich and has everything, including the successful woman he is about to marry. But when a chance encounter reunites them, will love really ignite again and defeat not just the present but the past as well? They have one night to find out.So One Night in Boston asks ‘can anything really change in 24 hours? Sure. I went from [...]

    4. Maggie has not had an easy life. She has loved and lost and, with lots of regrets, feels as if she has come out stronger on the other side of life. When parental responsibilities and life changes catch up with her, she draws on memories from her past – both the good and the bad, and goes looking for the one chance she thinks she has left to help her.Jack Major, from a good family, best of education, and with more regret than you can shake a stick at, has made a name for himself. Even though he [...]

    5. This is yet another free Kindle book I added back in 2010 and then never got around to. This book had no real redeeming qualities. It was a totally ridiculous book with no real redeeming characters, and a story that's been told over and over again. Girl and Boy fall in love. Girl has secret, so Girl breaks up with Boy. Girl and Boy still love each otheraos ensues to allow Boy to save Girl. This book was just plain dumb. Also, since when do people wear wedding rings on theirthirdfingers? Last tim [...]

    6. The concept of a book that takes place over the period of no more than twenty-four hours could be a good one, in the hands of a talented author. However, Boniface is not a talented author. The characterization was lacking, the circumstances contrived, and the execution of the plot was just that: an execution. I was relieved when I finished the book so I could move on to something better. This is the first, and almost certainly the last novel I will read by Allie Boniface.

    7. "4 out of 5 stars! It wasn't what I first expected, but I will say I am pleasantly surprised!! It will make you laugh, cry, and cheer Maggie on as she tries to straighten out the messes in her life."Read more of this review here: frommetoyouvideophoto/2010/04/but-im-ready-yes-im-ready-for-you-imml

    8. [my rating is really 3.5 stars:] This was a cute book. I liked the ensemble cast and how the story all came together in the end.Its been a while since I shed a tear in a book, and while I am a total softie, there were some parts that will pull at your heartstrings.Alot of people didn't like the flashbacks in the book. I have to admit, while they didn't really bother me, sometimes it did feel like there was more flashback than current story. But all in all, a sweet book.

    9. While I found this book to be quite predictable and the circumstances a little too coincidental, I enjoyed reading it. I liked the author's writing style; it's easy to read, which is a good thing when you're just looking to be entertained for a couple days. I gave it above three stars not because I thought it was a really great story, but because it lightened my mood and served its purpose of entertaining me for a while.

    10. I was scrolling through all the books I've downloaded on my kindle and found this one. I do not remember downloading it but I think it must have been a freebie. Not the best romance that I've ever read but not the worst. I wonder if this book has been made into a lifetime movie/hallmark movie because that is exactly the way it reads.

    11. I'm only giving this one the 'ok' rating. I thought the delivery was weak and could have been much stronger if the author went into past events a little more. Some of the flashbacks were the most interesting parts. I found myself skimming pages without really loosing any of the storyline, which is always disappointing for me.

    12. I found the concept around this book to be interesting. The story was also good. I felt as if the end was a little hurried especially surrounding Maggie and Jack resolving some professional differences. Beyond that I read this book quickly and enjoyed it as well. There weren't many laughs but it did tug on my heartstrings.

    13. This book was written by a Homer High School graduate. She was the daughter of Emily's guidance counselor. The book was well done. It contained a romance, a famiy torn apart, and a former love who the main character runs into ten years after they split up. It was a decent read and I would read future books written by her.

    14. Maggie is about to lose her home and her business. She decides to go to Boston to find her long lost step-brother and ask him for a loan. While there she re-unites with Jack, but his agency is trying to buy out her house and business to build a new company extension. Lots of drama ensues.

    15. As a resident of metro Boston, I did not appreciate how, at one point, our heroine is stuck in a traffic jam at the Boylston T Stop, and more than one hour later was not only still in the city but also on local roads instead of 93 South (as she was heading towards RI). A quick and easy read.

    16. I picked this book up as a free ebook from AllRomanceeBooks. Since it was free I wasn't expecting a lot, but I have to say that I really enjoyed the book. The main character did get on my nerves at times, but it was still a good book.

    17. I hate myself a bit for reading this. Even more for liking it. Romantic drivel if I ever read some. White knight saves damsel in distress. Barf. But I did swoon a bit. Stupid drivel. Free on Kindle.

    18. Surprisingly liked this one. Wasn't what I expected when I opened it up, but enjoyable in the end. Almost didn't feel like there was enough of the book. I would have liked it to be a bit longer and better fleshed out.

    19. I love romances about reuniting with "the one who got away." Pretty light reading, but lots of character development. For such a short book, I actually fell in love with the main characters. Nice, quick enjoyable read.

    20. I did enjoy this book - as a matter of fact I lost a little sleep last night because I had reached the part of the story I found hard to put down. There were a number of events and people in this young women's life to keep the interest, wondering how things would change in the following pages.

    21. This story had more potential. I usually read every word to the end. Around ch 3, i only read quotes, flashbacks, and bits of the paragraph. I was able to keep up with very little reading. No huge surprises. Would still consider reading additional books from the author.

    22. something to read while on the treadmill. bit of life imitating art. good fiction writing is so very difficult.

    23. I didn't realize this was a series. I am hooked 100% I really loved Maggie Jack and Dillon. can't wait to see what happens in Memphis.

    24. It was okay, the ending could have been better. There was room for at least another chapter to clear up or at least face the issues that were left open.

    25. Very cute love story. This was a free book I had on my Kindle. Would definitely read more by this author.

    26. I picked this because of its geographical location-nice story and everyone lives happily ever after. Good read for the beach!
