    1. Good, clean historical fiction. Such a sweet story of learning to forgive, as well as learning to accept forgiveness, but especially to be able to forgive yourself, & not acting like one still has to serve out penance for their sin. One of my favorite lines is: “forgiveness was a process…when Jesus said you had to forgive someone 70 X 7, He meant it almost literally, because some things hurt so much that you had to keep forgiving, even when it hurt, until the pain went away.” It’s al [...]

    2. For the Sake of the ChildrenVery nice story. Really enjoyed it's development. I received ir free as a gift but would have gladly paid for it. Will look for more of this authors work.

    3. Sometimes forgiveness takes a long time. Especially forgiveness of self. Very emotional story. The characters fit so well together.

    4. This is a beautiful example of how difficult it is to forgive ourselves sometimes, even if others have forgiven us long ago. Silas and Rose both need to learn that, but in different ways. I love the little girl, Milly. How precious she is, and how special. Grief, and how different people express it, also plays a big role in this story. I felt like I knew all of the characters well, and Danica Favorite's writing style is very enjoyable. This is a delightful book.

    5. "4 out of 5 stars! When they were younger Silas and Rose were inseparable. They were each other's secret friends and confidants while they dreamed of running away and marrying one another. Yet that all came crashing down after Silas marries his neighbor Annie in hopes of saving his family's farm instead. Now three years later, Silas is a widower and Rose's reputation has been questioned more than once because of her new son. But as circumstances bring their lives back together again will they re [...]

    6. A Wonderful Old West RomanceThis was an excellent read. I found myself taken in by the characters and this little western town right away. Although I felt sorry for the hero and heroine and the circumstances they were in, at first I didn't think that I was going to care for them so much. Through their conflict and tension, I couldn't help but pull for both of them. There were enough twist and turns to the plot to keep your interest and to keep you guessing. With out giving anything away it does [...]

    7. For The Sake Of the Children by Danica Favorite. Widower Silas Jones moves back to his hometown. He has a three year old daughter that his In-Laws want to raise. He goes to see Rose Stone, whom he loved years ago, before he married a gal to save his fathers farm. Rose Stone has her own history. She has a three month old boy from an ex boyfriend who was an outlaw. The up and down's of the story is very touching. Forgiving oneself and others is painful, and takes a long time.

    8. ForgivenessWonderful story about forgiveness, God forgives us without any hesitation, we should learn to forgive the way God does. It is hard the heroine was having a hard time for giving herself for a sin she had committed. Her family had forgiven her, the hero can to ask the heroine to forgive him for his actions. She felt that became of him she committed a son. Wonderful story of two people working through their problems toward forgiveness.
