    1. A fantastic story that began with Destiny’s Call, comes to a truly unbelievable conclusion with this new book from Jodine Turner titled, Ultimate Magic. To briefly recap, in the first novel readers stood beside a teenager by the name of Sharay Kallah. Her parents passed away in a horrific car accident and her horrible Aunt took over her care and sent her to an asylum, so she could end up with the money that her sister left behind. Soon readers found out that cash wasn’t exactly what the Aunt [...]

    2. The second, and final book in the wonderful Carry on the Flame series is better than the first, and carries on from where the last one left off. Once again, it's a highly informative and somewhat enlightening read on the ways and beliefs of those who worship the sacred feminine. Though couched in the terms of this one faith, the sentiments expressed are relevant to all, and the author does an excellent job of giving the reader a sense of the sacredness in all things, especially nature and within [...]

    3. I found this second and concluding novel in the series to be even better than the first. After a tragedy that occurs in the opening pages, Sharay chooses to separate herself from those she loves in a misguided attempt to protect them. Jodine Turner does a great job of keeping the emotions running high without being overdramatic. We gradually see Sharay come into her own, and her true strength as heroine comes through as she learns to vanquish her inner demons before she has to face a physical fo [...]

    4. In Ultimate Magic, Sharay continues to fight her inner demons, and those from the outside world, as she struggles to grow into the crucial role destiny has planned for her. Jodine Turner’s descriptive passages made me feel that I was right there in the UK along with the characters. As in the first book, I especially enjoyed the connections to the ancient Celts. Tension and action, mixed with hope and a bit of romance, makes for a great read and a satisfying ending. I enjoyed this book as much [...]
