    1. What a wild ride this book is! It's full of soap opera-ish twists and surprises. I kept hearing that "shocking revelation" music in my head (Dum-Dum-DUUUUUMMMMM!!!!) as I read the last half of the story. It is completely outside the box when it comes to Pride and Prejudice canon, and some characterizations are virtually unrecognizable. Mr. Collins is actually sensible - He's even given some Austen lines that were Elizabeth's in the original. Lady Catherine should be cackling AND twirling a handl [...]

    2. This book takes canon and flips it on its ear not once, or twice, but a few times. Quite unique twists, starting with Anne de Bourgh and Collins falling in love! Fairly well paced with the action parts but in some places in the first half it felt like some of the character relationships took an unexplained jump. But all in all, I could not put it down!

    3. Didn't finish itToo pat. Plot could have been guided better than it was. Poor editing and over use of some phases. Too many characters with too many sub plots

    4. An excellent readI really can't believe that such a wonderful book was on Kindle Unlimited. It has everything I enjoy in a Darcy what if. Lots of twists and turns and a thoroughly good story. It is a good long book that I found hard to put down.

    5. Interesting idea! It must have taken a big notebook to track the plot for this one as it had so many reveals. Aunt Catherine was true evil.

    6. One of the bestHaving read probably a hundred adaptations this has to be one of the most interesting. Everyone is in the story but it's their actions that are so different. Caroline is a nice, kind person. Lydia isn't wild. Darcy mellows out and doesn't have the angst driven relationship with Elizabeth. But its two parts: the first is that evil Wickham and the troubles he caused. He's actually worst than ever but is stopped by an unlikely source. Second part is surrounding Anne, Lady Catherine, L [...]

    7. One of the better Pride and Prejudice Variations!Very good story! A real page turner! First time, I came across a Mr. Collins and Lydia as decent people, and a Bingley who was a confident individual. I really enjoyed the way all the secrets were revealed. I loved how the oAuthor wrote Caroline's character and how she added the extra characters into the story Excellent job!

    8. So disappointing. I was hankering for some P&P action. Unfortunately, this book left a LOT to be desired. Not very well-written (some of the sentences were so poorly written that I had to read them numerous times just to understand what the writer was trying to say!), poorly edited, too many story lines, skipping from one couple to the next from paragraph to paragraph.

    9. Bunch of secretsLiked this variatiin, lots of revelations unfolding. It kept my interest the whole time, except for the love story of Caroline and Edmund, it seems trying fot me

    10. Makes no sense I couldn't get past 30% of this book. It made no sense. One part said one thing then in the next paragraph it skipped to something different or skipped information we should know. For instance, Elizabeth falls into a pond and Darcy saves her. Next thing we know she is fine and walking around her room but then in the next few paragraphs is states that 'she is finally able to walk outside again after many days from her accident'. What? When was she bed ridden? I can see where the au [...]

    11. Secrets RevealedMost would agree that Lady Catherine was not a nice tyrant, but in this story she was the devil's wife in the flesh. From blackmail, kidnapping, murder, and conspiracies, she did it all. Of course, during many of these atrocities, she had her brother's, the Earl of Matlock, help. She really had a reason to blackmail him. Anne runs away from Rosings, because she's fallen in love with Mr. William Collins. This Collins is really different! He's not the slimy idiot that bows to Lady [...]

    12. A whole lotta shaking going on!There is a whole lot going on in this book. Lots of plotting and scheming, some romance and nefarious deeds with the kitchen sink thrown in for good measure. Somehow it isn't a complete hot mess. A nice long read, the second half is almost a separate book and the better portion. There are some disjointed sections and some head scratching "huhs" along the way but a decent read for a slow day.

    13. Love for Elizabeth and Darcy is realized too quickly in this novel as the plot centres around a sensible Mr Collins secretly engaged to Anne. Throw in some crazy family members and you have a mystery!

    14. Truly awesome variationI'd have given this 5 stars but it needs editing desperately. The author could've written at least 2 books, there's so much excellent contentdly
