    1. Was not my favourite book its a average read for me going to read another one of her books hope it's better.

    2. This book is a nice easy read on a winters evening. I enjoyed the story and the little mystery of what happened to merry's brother. I did feel towards the end it was rushed in places as the story jumped to try to untangle the different characters to create a happy ending.

    3. What a lovely book. Full of emotion. From the death of her granny, her brothers disappearance, grannys rape, the death of her parents how she lost out on her nursing but yet still a happy ending at the end of a harrowing storyline. Merry had me feeling not so merry but glad all worked out in the end. Every book needs a happy ending x

    4. I have to say I enjoyed this book, although the structure could some times be confusing and felt like it missed the detailing of important parts of the story. But none the less Maggie Hope is still one of my favourite authors and I am truly addicted to her books and this one's no different.

    5. Miner's girlAnother great book by this author . I read some books by Maggie Hope years ago and I am now enjoying them on my kindle. This is a brilliant story and one I would thoroughly recommend
