    1. I cannot speak for the diary entries, but I know the introduction to the book is definitely inaccurate. The book says Mr. Breitbart lived in the Lodz Ghetto, was deported, and escaped from a train en route to Treblinka. Citizens of Lodz were deported to Chelmno, not Treblinka. Warsaw Jews went to Treblinka.The diary entries are a useful enough addition to the genre of Holocaust diaries, but there weren't really enough of them to stand on their own. They would have been better in an anthology or [...]

    2. Incredible story of a fearless Holocaust hero.And to Meaghan- The people in Lodz ghetto were not only sent to Chelmno but also Treblinka. It was not only one ghetto to one concentration camp.
