    1. Queen Fianna of the Fourth Kingdom has a situation on her hands. King Anton of the Third Kingdom has expressed his intention to acquire minerals in her kingdom by force. He has treated with disdain guests sent to him in peace. Fianna has to go to war. But successful war can only be waged in a joint operation with the unicorns and the dragons. The only problem is there is no unity of purpose at the moment for the three kingdoms whose existence is threatened. The book becomes a captivating story of [...]

    2. I had to start reading this immediately after the previous book because I couldn’t let go.In the sequel to The Dragon Throne, we pick up pretty much where we left off. Fianna is still keeping secrets, and burdening herself under the growing weight of her friendship with the Prancer, whilst he is determined to bring his father to rights after the harsh truths he’s discovered about his parentage. Deian is embroiled in an alien culture, thrown down a path of possible destruction, the dragons ar [...]

    3. This is a fun adventure book that is not without its heart rending moments. It is a tale full knights and damsels, dragons and unicorns, love and sorrow, magic and humans, and everything in between. The Unicorn Throne is a page turner that keeps the reader moving through page after page. Cymri does an excellent job of laying the groundwork of suspense throughout the book. As the second book in the series (and I have not yet read the first), Cymri did a great job of providing the necessary backgr [...]

    4. This book is one in a series of books. I hadn’t read the others but the author managed to weave ‘need-to-know’ information into the story with a light touch. Once I’d grappled with who was who, I was away, and this book turned out to be one of those you have to ‘read just one more chapter’ before you put the light out.Knights and squires, Unicorns and Dragons, war, love, magic, lore and courtly tradition - this novel was a feast in every way. I felt myself absolutely drawn in to the [...]

    5. This is an excellent follow up and conclusion to part one of the series, The Dragon Throne. I love the development of all the characters, though there are some absolutely heartbreaking developments in the story.Fianna and the Prancer (unicorn) must continue their journeys to save the land, but it's time to face their own demons. Deian is taken away on his own quest, and in so doing puts himself in the most dangerous position of all. Love is had and lost, wounds are opened and healed, and the sto [...]

    6. I have to mirror what other reviewers have said so far. This book is really a treat to read. It's so entertaining and interesting if you enjoy fantasy novels. One particular thing I liked was how well-paced the novel is. I love fantasy books, but the one issue I have with them is that authors usually spend so much time describing every detail of everything and everyone, that it feels like it drags and just takes forever for anything to actually happen in the story. A lot of times I lose interest [...]

    7. I really enjoyed this book. It was a good sequel and a good finish to the story. I did not see it going that way, they were brought together by dragons or were they? It involves betrayal, forgiveness, and knowing who you should stand by in the end.I mean come on, who can't like a story that brings humans, dragons, and unicorns into a war??i received this book in exchange for an honest review.
