My favorites from this collection were The Acorn Tree (adapted from The Cock and the Hand Mill from Russian Fairy Tales), The Flower Children (adapted from Tale of an Old Woman from African Folktales, The Twins from Far Away, (adapted from Pueblo Stories And Storytellers), and Owl Feathers (adapted from the plumage of the Owl in The Three Wishes: A Collection of Puerto Rican Folktales) .
