    1. This combined review of God Bless this Starry Night, God Loves Little Me, Not so Silent Night!, and Noah's Noisy Animals also appears on my blog, Read-at-Home Mom.Owl Diaries illustrator Rebecca Elliott is the creator of these religiously themed board books. I loved these instantly, and when I shared them with Miss Muffet on the computer, she requested repeat readings of every single one. God Loves Little Me is a celebration of the animals God has created and how they move their bodies. Each pag [...]

    2. This is another wonderful board book by Rebecca Elliott. The pictures are large and colourful and the text is very simple. My grandson (30 month) loved this book. He made the noises along with the animals and kept talking about the pictures, "look at that .". He loved the page with baby Jesus crying as it is just like his little sister crying and people telling her to Shhh. Not sure if the connection to the Nativity story, but he loved the book as evidenced by his comment "again, again". A cute [...]

    3. This is a beautiful board book! The illustrations are terrific (especially the final spread--so pretty!), with lots of color, and kids will love them. They will also have fun making (or at least listening to) the animal noises. While very young children might not understand that the book is about Jesus's birth and the noisy stable, they'll still enjoy the animals, and as they get older, I think they'll love the connection to the Nativity. Really super little book.I read a free copy through NetGa [...]

    4. Oh I love this book! This is a great book to enjoy with the children in your life. It is colorful, it is playful, and with it you can share Jesus. It is not only a great book, it is an opportunity to make memories! I can not recommend enough! A Special Thank you to Lion Hudson Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

    5. This is a very sweet and cute picture book. The quality of the images is second to none and very bright, wonderfully detailed and attractive to young children. Its a fun book that can easily help young children learn more about which animals are which and the noises they make - highly recommended as a first picture book.

    6. This is a colorful book of animal sounds in the stable where Jesus was born.I received an ARC from NetGalley.

    7. This is a very simple book, simply the noises the animals and people made in a moment at the Manger scene. Not very creative and no story, but lovely illustrations and fun for a very young child.
