    1. FORBIDDEN LEGACY is an amazing historical romance set in the old west. It is a clean and old fashion read with a few twists. It has a Christian storyline that has different personalities and cultures. It involves the overcoming of racism between Native Americans and white people. The best part is where loving an enemy changes the enemy into a friend for life.Sarah Clarke, is a very well off 22 year old from Chicago. She had just inherited a Texas ranch from a grandfather that she had never met. [...]

    2. Sarah has been told she inherited the Arrow C Cattle Ranch so she and her aunt are taken to her new home by a half-breed, Storm who has been running the ranch and who also thinks he has inherited it.She has a fear of Indians and can't quite work out why she hasn't been attacked, scalped or even something worse by the ones she meets up with. 3. Sarah is traveling West from Chicago with her great aunt to visit a Texas ranch she inherited from her grandfather. Her father was killed by American Indians, and when she learns that her escort to the ranch is a group of Indians led by a half white/half Indian man named Storm, she's terrified.Storm convinces Sarah to try to get to know the men as individuals. Slowly, Sarah learns to trust the men and overcome her prejudices. Just when she starts to feel more comfortable and begins to fall in lo [...]

    4. Author Barbara Goss does not hesitate to tackle the hard and forbidden topics. Here she takes on discrimination, specifically as practiced against the Native Americans in the 19th century. While somewhat Utopian in some aspects, the issues are spelled out clearly while the plot takes you on a voyage of eye-opening discovery. A couple of hours in the car with the kids shouting "Are we there yet?" is nothing compared to weeks in a stagecoach or wagon or on horseback (or even walking) crossing the [...]

    5. Another Good Read by this AuthorThis story centers around the female lead, Sarah, and her journey to claim an inheritance. Now enters the male lead, Storm, who has a few secrets. Both characters grow by the time the story ends which lead to an engaging read overall.Leon Nixon did well with the narration.Note:"This audio book was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review."

    6. Forbidden Legacy is a well written story full of twists and turns. I love the interweaving of multiple storylines on the way to happult ever after. But you don't really know who gets their HEA until the final pages. Barbara Goss writes a wonderful story and the narration for the audiobook is very well done.

    7. Forbidden Legacy by Barbara Gods was a good read. Sarah is a 22 year old who just inherited a Texas ranch. Sarah and her Aunt Emily travel from Chicago to Texas. This was a great book about realizing everything may not be as it seems. It's full of deceit danger and finding love.

    8. True Love - God's LoveI really enjoyed reading this book. It is amazing how the prejudices against the American Indians still goes on today. I am glad your story about Storm and Sarah showed how their love together with God's love can overcome prejudice. I loved your book. I look forward to reading more of your work.

    9. It was an intriguing premise, but the writing was elementary, and the characters unrealistic. The interactions between the two main characters were especially unrealistic, especially for the time period represented.

    10. This book was a surprisingly good read. I almost gave up halfway through the book because the author used a strange plot twist. I didn't like where it was going. I kept going and I am glad that I did. Not the greatest book I every read but I give it four stars because of the plot twists.

    11. Forbidden LegacyI thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was good from the first page to the last. I will read more of her books.
