    2. I was lucky enough to buy a paperback copy of this from the National Civil War Centre in Newark last year and loved this short book. It fits well with the rest of the Stryker series or as a stand alone book. It is fast paced and I read it almost in one sitting. Well drawn, clear characters and a real feel for life at the time described in a believable and easily readable way. It ends on an optimistic high for both Prince Rupert and Stryker with Prince Rupert at the height of his powers outwittin [...]
