    1. Ok, wow. So let me start by saying I am *not* the intended audience for this book. Every time a Melissa Ambrosini ad used to come up on my Facebook feed, my eyes would roll so far back in my head that I was worried they would get stuck there and I would die. The kind of hot, underqualified, online spirituality guide I'd assumed her to be did not appeal to my cynical eyes one bit. And don't get me wrong, this book is filled with eye rolls - for example, the fact that there is a professional photo [...]

    2. I have to say that this is the first guide that I've started to read and finished! Let alone in the time frame of two days. I cannot express myself enough when I say that I loved this so much because it is exactly the type of book I needed to read at this point of my life. Just by reading the title and subtitle, you wouldn't think at all that this book has basically everything you need to know about creating the best life for yourself. Of course the blurb on the back describes everything you nee [...]

    3. 1st Read: Wow! I was not expecting this kind of life-changing thing to happen. I encourage any women and girl who has the time, to pick up this book! I promise you, you will not regret it. Simply beautiful <32nd Read: Still found something new the second time around. Many breakthroughs and a great refresher! Definitely needed this!

    4. psychcentral/lib/book-revi“But I don’t have an inner mean girl!” That’s what I was inwardly yelling upon picking up Mastering Your Mean Girl. Of course, the voice in my head that responded (i.e the Mean Girl) was telling me that I had been the victim of mean girls, that I was mousy, too quiet, too loud (at the same time), too fat, and too quirky to really benefit from from author and coach Melissa Ambrosini was writing about. Self, meet “Mean Girl.”As defined by Ambrosini, a former d [...]

    5. The BEST personal development book I have EVER read/listened to. Melissa is incredible and I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to work on every aspect of their life, especially in the audiobook version because Melissa's voice is a miracle on its own. Love, love, LOVE.

    6. Most amazing book I've ever read! I've made so many changes since reading this book and already feel so amazing for it. I 100% recommend this book, do yourself a favour and buy a hard copy! There is tons of inspo action to take part in so you really feel connected to what you are reading.

    7. A patient made me promise I'd read this. Ten pages in I was wondering what I'd gotten myself into If you can look past some of the superficial stuff (and some poorly interpreted science) it's actually a great 'how to' guide that most women in their 20s/30s could probably find some message in. I wish I'd read a book like this 15 years ago - my inner mean girl rages strong. The message is clear: to enjoy life more and bring the right people into your life, you have to love yourself first. And it's [...]

    8. This book is full of helpful suggestions, good ideas and enlightening observations. The problem is that you sort of have to dig for them. It's got some really great stuff within it's pages but this book is probably 100-150 pages too long meaning there is a large amount of repetition and perhaps a little too much of the author's own opinions and choices thrown in.This book is supposed to be about mastering your mean girl, your inner critic and yet, I couldn't help but feel like the author was rea [...]

    9. "How many times have you been in a room full of people and felt paralysed with worry, convinced everyone else is judging you? How many times have you sabotaged yourself, just when you thought things were finally looking up? And how many times have you looked in the mirror and told yourself you were fat, stupid, ugly, unlovable and worthless?" Every. Single. Day. This was such an insightful book narrated in a friendly way which was easy to understand. It wasn't preachy and it wasn't judgemental. [...]

    10. If you haven't jumped on the PD bandwagon, this is a great starter book! I'll be personally recommending it to all of my new coaches and challengers! Each chapter holds a little of so many of the other books I"ve read in the last year. Productivity, positive thinking, re-framing your thoughts to be happier, healthy eating, and even grief. So many of the other books like this I have read, I have thought, "But does she really REALLY get it? Has she lived through terrible grief or a personal health [...]

    11. If you're at the beginning of your self-discovery journey and looking for a book to jump-start a new, positive way of thinking, this is the one. Not too heavy on new concepts, it's the perfect book to start building new perspectives and creating positive, permanent change in your life. A quick read, I whizzed through it in a six-hour sprint, and came away feeling ready to dive deeper into mastering the voice many of us women harbor and turning that voice around.I highly recommend starting here b [...]

    12. One of the most authentic, genuinely inspiring books for women.I purchased it as an audio book when I was going though a very difficult time in my personal life, and listening to Melissa's gentle voice while absorbing her incredibly wise advice, genuinely helped me to stay positive and hopeful. I cannot recommend it enough for anyone who needs a little extra push and motivation to get through challenges/obstacles in life.

    13. Whilst I thought it was a lovely book and a gentle read and I think Melissa is really sweet, this book is way more geared to the younger girl rather than someone older. That's just my opinion of course but I believe that it wouldn't gel all that well with someone above 38 with a bit more life experience.I wish there had been a book like that when I was younger so it is good for say the 20's- early 30's age group.

    14. I thought this book was inspirational really well thought out with incredible advice about the way people think of themselves. I highly recommend this book to anyone that finds it difficult to make choices and feels they don’t have enough believe to say no to people when they want to. No more people pleasing !!

    15. This book was a bit airy for me. It seemed to be an extension of the law of attraction - a concept I am strongly against. I didn’t like how Ambrosini referred to the reader in terms of cliched endearment. It all came off as a little bit whispy. However, I can see how some people would benefit from this.

    16. I loved the easy action steps for a meaningful life. I really believe that we all have the birthright to live our best life. We just need some reminders and bold action steps to follow through. This is this book about, a easy guide to master that ego or inner critic voice which is telling you that you’re not enough or you don’t deserve but it’s wrong, we deserve it!!

    17. I listened to this book on Audible and besides LOVING Melissa's accent, she can get a clear picture of what she stresses with the way she says each thing. I HIGHLY recommend this book and it is one of my top 2 books for personal development!

    18. READ THIS BOOK. THE END. You will love this book if you are in need of a little boost of self love. It will give you the tools you need to conquer your inner critic and empower yourself. Melissa Ambrosini is such a living author and you can feel the love in her words.

    19. Well, it was cutesy, as the title suggests. I didn't fill out all the activities throughout the book, but I think just reading its positivity and affirmations helped to relax me and put me in a better mood.

    20. Appropriate reading this one in the new year - but I borrowed it from the library so it was simply perfect timing. I definitely have a mean girl - and I'm definitely going to conquer it. Already putting this one into action! Read in 1 day!

    21. Loved this! I will be reading it again in the coming year I think! Definitely appreciate Melissa and all she shared in this book!

    22. OH MY GOODNESS!This is book was thought provoking. Many people have an inner mean person they need to overcome. I am one of those people. My journey is just beginning.

    23. I think some people might find that this book can be a little wishy-washy but I definitely found some gems/pearls in this one.

    24. A good starter self-help guide for young women, or even teenagers. Some of the things I knew well from previous reads, but for those new to the genre it will be a helpful read

    25. Enjoyed it but difficult as an audio book as this has a "workbook" flow to it. Started listening to her podcasts as well.

    26. This felt like a softer, less in-your-face version of the Landmark Forum. It was very good to revisit some of those principles and have ideas to put them into action. A well-written book that speaks to the reader in a "girlfriend" language.

    27. I think this book had a few good ideas, but the writing was so cringeworthy I could not get past it. It reads like it was written by Elle Woods’ old sorority sisters who come to Washington to help her sign that dog bill. I mean, I think she sounds insane when she talks about having kombucha on tap at her wedding instead of alcohol, but you might like that!
