    1. Not really what I expected. The writing was a bit cheesy and simplistic. While I get she was trying to make spirituality accessible to everyone, it was a bit too simplistic. This would be a good book for someone who had never tried any spiritual practice, but not really what I was looking for. After reading the beginning, just skimmed through the long list of things to try.

    2. Much better than I expected. I didn't know what to expect because some reviews weren't very promising. But Emma's writing saves the day. I love her writing and humor. Some of the things in the book I was already familiar with, so I think this toolbook or guide is perfect for beginners. :)

    3. Looking forward to reading this book when it is releasedg author that is full of spiritual wisdom :)

    4. Meh. This is more of a reference it when you need it book than a sit down and read which is what I was looking for.

    5. Oh, dear. I should have paid attention to the statement that the author is writing for her generation. I guess now I have to assume that her generation is the spiritual form of Valley Girls. I was so looking forward to reading this handbook, and am so disappointed by the simplistic content and silly, unreflective writing. This book could have been written referring only to the author's beloved Google. If she travelled and met with spiritual teachers as she said, there's nothing in here to sugges [...]

    6. Lucky enough to review a copy and really enjoyed the book. Loved the festival section, and ended up fueling me to Soul Search and take a trip I never would have gone on otherwise! I definitely recommend this book for anyone who enjoys yoga, is spirituality open, and wanting to learn more about what has life to over. Awesome read.

    7. This book honestly spoke to me on so many levels. It was just the thing I needed at the time when I started reading. A book about embracing love and listening to your soul, I think it's something everyone could benefit from! A great book to help focus and center me and a great way to start the new year!

    8. A must read for anyone seeking more from life, be it spiritual or holistic. This book caters to all religions, all spiritualities, all beliefs to offer a universal look at what it means to be spiritual in our modern age.

    9. This book seemed promising but was a bit too scattered. I understand the author wanted to cover all manner of metaphysical topics but the overview approach might've resulted in her biting off more than she could chew. Still, enjoyable in parts.

    10. I enjoyed this book so very much! I read other reviews that said that each topic wasn't covered in depth, but I think that has something to do with the wide range of topics that were explored. The author discussed new age practices (including, but not limited to) crystals, feng shui, yoga, meditation, astrology, numerology, past life regression, and aromatherapy. I looked at this book as a jumping off point. It informs you on the basics, and you need to explore what interests you. The author's w [...]

    11. I've been "reading" this book for basically 2 years couldn't make it past the first few chapters. I'm sure there's some good information in there, but there's something about the way that it's written that I don't connect with. If you're looking for details on crystals and other westernized healing methods, dive right in! Good reference for that type of stuff.

    12. The writing style was overly conversational (flippant at times) and when it is combined with such a high level overview of all things new-age it's just not well, it's just not my cup of tea. I didn't understand the point of her rating system, especially after reading her intro - try it for yourself message. Happy I borrowed this from the library.

    13. Definitely one of the better books in my spiritual library. It gave me different areas to explore as far as holistic living and my spirituality. Going to put it on my kindle so I have it in multiple mediums.

    14. Inspiring BookThis has really awakened what I knew I had in me. I think I ha e found my purpose!! And the crystal section really resonated and I will be doing more research I to them. I also am fascinated with astrology. A really informative book.

    15. This is a great guidebook to all things New Age for mind, body and spirit. I have read it in pieces and learned quite a bit. Some I'll investigate further , some not. That's what this book is all about.

    16. I think this is a great book for beginners that gives you s brief overview of all things “woo-woo.” It allows you to discover new things, and whatever ends up resonating with you, you can do further research on your own. I bookmarked a ton of stuff I want to be able to easily reference later.

    17. I really liked this book, and how Emma Mildon guided me through a whole bunch of spiritual wisom - I look forward to use this book actively through my spiritual journey!

    18. Love it!Couldn't have read this at a better time. Such a great introduction to the world of spirituality. Enjoyed her humor and tips!

    19. This book ROCKS. I'm a novice at all things crystal and spirit guide and meditation and shakras, and this book filled me in 100%

    20. Well I wanted to really get into this book but just couldn't. It was an easy to follow introduction to many facets of soul searching. I just couldn't get passed the Authors take on some things. The language was kind of how she would speak to her girlfriends, if they swore a lot and were very sarcastic. Not something I can relate to.

    21. I really enjoyed this book. So many different topics were presented in an easy to understand format. I found myself looking up different topics to see more about them as I was reading the book and there are several I want to explore more -- angels, crystals, akashic records and more. If you are interested in any of these topics then you have to check out this book. I also found it very helpful to have the "explore this" ideas throughout the book as well as the information about further info on h [...]

    22. I would give this book 3 1/2 stars. It is a good book for beginners curious about New Age. The beginning was written more as a self help book which made it harder to get into. I do think there are better books about meditation out there that would be more helpful. I think the thing that really bugged me was her writing about how certain illnesses and problems are just your bodies way of your soul telling you something. An example is if you have cancer the spiritual meaning is grief, secrets, and [...]

    23. I mostly skimmed through this book. I already knew about a lot of what was included, but there was some new info I had never read before. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting.

    24. What an awesome book! This book has it all! The bits and pieces of information will led the reader on their own spiritual discovery and path, whether they are just starting out with no information at all, or are aware of a few of the items listed in this book. What feels right for all of us is a little bit different, but LOVED the woo-woo and spiritual scales! That in itself really is too funny. I mean how many times have you heard someone who is not spiritual say oh that "woo-woo stuff?" It is [...]

    25. It's a bit insulting that she says she's writing to my generation. I've met a ton of young people who are way more intuitive and gifted than her writing suggests. The fact that she calls spiritual practices "woo woos" grinds my gears like no other. She said she wrote the book because she googled "how to be spiritual" and got no answers. This book is clearly not the answer. A better google search (or even Pinterest) would give better info than this book without the annoying valley girl language.

    26. So I've grown up christian since i was about 8 and I never really connected to God as hard as I tried. At one point I was reading my bible and praying twice a day and i never really HEARD, you know? Around 19, when I started to work, I would get scheduled for the times I would normally be in church, so I eventually stopped going all together and I think that was the start of my spiritual journey. I will always believe in God among other things. This book has inspired me above all else to LOVE MY [...]

    27. Absolutely love this book. It has been so helpful in starting me on a journey to happier more fulfilling life. Would definitely recommend! This book isn't just one that you read and then put in the book shelf and never look at again. You will contently find yourself coming back to this book and that's one of the things i really love about it.
