    1. Just okay story, 2.5 stars.Very rich and powerful family, domineering father with lots of connections. Parts are unbelievable, like travel to London. He has the two passports in his hand, got them during the flight! Romance, fights and definitely author wants you to read the next book so you'll know the answer. But not me.

    2. The second in the “Jordan James PI” series, “Lost Distinction” involves a different kind of mystery than the first with more romance.Read full review in the 2015 July/August issue of InD'tale Magazine.

    3. For some reason I found this book a little boring. The story was there, sort of, the characters were okay, albeit rather one dimensional, but it just didn't keep me all that interested. The main appeal of the book seemed to be Jordan's insertion into this wealthy family, inviting us all to oooh and ahhh beside her at the glitzy amenities of the uber rich- as well as family secrets that, in this case, weren't so dark as to be earth-shattering - just the usual cover-ups that wealthy people seem to [...]

    4. This has to be one of the dullest mystery slash thriller slash PI stories that I've read in a long time. It was long winded, the characters shallow and undeveloped, and their actions very unlike what normal people would do in the same circumstances. The heroine is supposed to be a great detective and supposedly built up a great private investigative agency, yet she never does any real detecting and is naive about everything. It reads like a clueless Nancy Drew story with a very sophomoric feel. [...]

    5. She's a PI?The writing was good, the story flowed well, but I felt that the story was weak and the main character was pretty lame as a PI. It almost felt like a sugar coated teen mystery. Don't think I will read any more of this series.

    6. Great plot!Excellent plot, many twists, but somewhat unevenly written, as if the author changed voices midstream. Having the boyfriend and her partner be roommates was interesting, but I found it unbelievable that Jordan was not aware of her partners romantic interest in her.

    7. A whole different kind of PI.This story was more about the characters personally then the PI business. Jordan was having second thoughts about her boyfriend because he seemed to be holding back.

    8. ForgettableThe story was just getting good when it was over. Too much of a cliff hanger. I prefer a book that has a distinct end.

    9. A Good Detective TaleGroan, groan. Another book that ends without an ending. Is this the only way an author can be assured of selling their next book?

    10. Run read!So many threads! Stories within stories, mostly little things, but very entertaining. There seems to be several more titles by this author, I will seek them out.

    11. Lost Distinction is book two of the Jordan James, PI Series by Rachel Sharpe. It can be read as a stand-alone with little trouble. I personally loved having read the first so I knew circumstances referred to better than just the information given, but that’s just my preference. I loved revisiting Jordan and her wonderful world of friends and more. This case is about her boyfriend, Rich Michaels, cousin. Estranged from distant family members of great power, wealth, and ambition Rick cares for hi [...]

    12. Jordan James Finds Her ManLost Distinction, Rachel Sharpe’s latest Jordan James suspense novel, is an interesting combination of hard-hitting action, flawed but likable characters, and a prominent family desperate to maintain its image in the face of a kidnapping. It’s the mark of a good writer to make the reader care deeply about a character from the very beginning, even though the character is completely off-screen until the end of the book. Arthur Cross’s kidnapping is the heart of the s [...]
