    2. I had read this when I was about 12, and I remembered it as a fun romp. Thirty years later, my reread confirms that, but with a few caveats. I certainly do recommend it, don't get me wrong!     3. If you're active in any sort of fandom or online community, you NEED to read this book. I've known Bjo for almost 15 years and I thought I'd heard all her stories I have not. Her book had me laughing so hard I woke people sleeping nearby!
