    1. Faith is the story of Laura, a breast cancer survivor who finds some peace dancing as Faith. Dancing in a place where men look at her without seeing her scars that she’s left with after being diagnosed with cancer at such a young age. With the news of being in remission fresh, Laura decides to take a job at a local strip club under the alias, Faith. When one private party puts her face to face with an attractive man, she never expected to see Bryce outside of the club. An instant connection is [...]

    2. Faith is a shorter book with a unique take on a young woman who is asurvivor of breast cancer. At an early age she was diagnosed with thecancer and had to have a double mastectomy along with chemo and radiationtreatments. Her life had become hospitals, treatments, needles, disappointments, pain and the reality that her dreams of husband andchildren were gone. There was no way she would ever allow a man to loveher only to live with the fear that her cancer would return at any time. The treatments a [...]

    3. I was provided with an ARC by the author for an honest review. The author did a great job of conveying some of the fears and insecurities that accompany surviving breast cancer. At the same time, I felt like the truths she was trying to make us understand are relevant to everyone, not just cancer survivors.Laura is a young lady who had to undergo a double mastectomy and chemotherapy/radiation before being told she was cancer free. We see her struggle with trying to figure out what her life is goi [...]

    4. Title: FaithAuthor: Elizabeth HayesGenre: New Adult, Contemporary RomanceSeries or Standalone: Standalone Series (Hades Angels #1)Rating: ★★★★ReviewThis book was compelling to me for a couple of reasons. The first being the subject matter. Cancer, no matter what type you write about, isn’t the easiest subject to tackle, but it’s made even tougher when you’re writing about the way a person may feel after hearing the words remission. I believe that the author conveyed Laura’s strug [...]

    5. Rating: 2.5 - 3 starsFaith has a second chance at life, except it won't be like most girl's lives. After feeling unhappy with her body and not equal to anyone else, dancing is a release. She becomes Faith, she's whoever she wants to be each night, but then she meets Bryce. 7. I was given a ARC in exchange of a honest review.Laura Walsh is 21 years old and had breast cancer since 18, right after high school graduation. While her friends and boyfriends were going to college, she was going to doctors appointments and to chemo treatment.Little after her 21 birthday she´s cancer free, but she scarred, she had a double mastectomy with reconstruction, and she feels like her body is not her own. She doesn´t have her nipples, and she can have children. In the day she discov [...]

    8. >>>I exchanged this ARC in exchange for an honest review. <<<"Faith" is the first book of the Hades Angels series. In this book you meet the 21-year old Faith who was diagnosed with cancer. Something which influences her whole life. For so long until she decided that she needs a change. Like right now. This is the moment she finds distraction in dancing in a men club. There she meets somebody.Somebody who is not the way Faith (or Laura) expects him to be. After reading the blu [...]

    9. 3.5 StarsARC gifted in exchange for an honest review. I'd like to give props to the author for the subject matter of this book. It's not an easy one to write about and I feel like she covered it well. Pros: Laura or "Faith" has survived breast cancer and a bi-lateral mastectomy. She's only 21 years old and has been through a lot in those 21 years. Her disease has defined her for quite some time and this book is about her trying to break out of the mold and find herself again. She takes several l [...]

    10. When this book appeared in front of me, I was intrigued. I've dealt with Cancer in my family. It is one of the hardest things to ever have to see and just feel hopeless.Laura is young and has had Breast Cancer. After lots and lots of treatments, she finally told she is in remission. But she is unsure what to do now. On a whim she becomes a dancer at Hades. It's not a full stripper bar. I understood why she went that route because in some aspect she wanted to feel normal. She has a ton of scars, [...]

    11. I received this free eARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. This was a very quick read, but I think that might be a strike against this novel. Faith/Laura is extremely self conscious about her life, which I don’t blame here. When she is diagnosed in remission from having cancer, Faith/Laura doesn’t really know how to take the news. It’s something she’s always wanted, but never thought it would actually happen. So she gets a job, even though she doesn’t need the money, an [...]

    12. So, you want to read a not- so- typical love story? Well then Faith is the book for you. This is a heartwarming story that starts in a doctors office and you think for a minute that there is going to be bad news, but like the summary says, it's quite the opposite. And that is where the fun and lots of laughter ( mostly at Melody’s expense!) Elizabeth takes you on a young woman's journey that is born in heartbreak, raised in possible hope, and grown to include love and some great friendships. T [...]

    13. Laura didn't get to enjoy her life after high school graduation. Instead of hanging out with friends and getting ready for college, she was getting chemo. Her life took a sharp turn that she wasn't prepared for. After learning that she is cancer free two years later, Laura Walsh begins working as a stripper. There, she feels free. She had a double mastectomy with resurrection but she feels like she's not in her own skin every time she looks in the mirror so she wanted to be somewhere where peopl [...]

    14. A wonderful story of a survivor, who meets her soulmate another survivor and how she works out her insecurities, learns to trust and live yet again! Being with a health scare and undergoing chemo and surgery is a life changing experience and it leaves more scars and issues than one can imagine In more ways than one, the survivor would feel insecure to the point of thinking why they went through all those struggles! It is all portrayed well and how she overcomes everything trying for normalcy b [...]

    15. 3 stars!ARC kindly provided by publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I liked this book but didn't love it. It's a shorter read to begin with so the story feels somewhat rushed. I didn't feel the connection to the characters that I usually do. It takes her a while before Laura even meets Bryce. The author could have probably cut out a lot of the beginning and made them meet much sooner. The romance Seneca felt short or skimmed over. I did however like how the author touched on [...]

    16. This was another NetGalley DNF for me.Unfortunately, this book was both underdeveloped and slightly overly detailed. Big things happened to Laura/Faith which led her to make some major life choices, but we didn't get to see much of her thinking and mindset behind it until a brief lunch where she tells someone about it. I felt like that could have been a big part of the story. Yet, at the same time, I was inundated with the boring details of her daily routine and the cats she bought. Maybe they c [...]

    17. This was a good read. The heroine dances to feel comfortable in her own skin again. She dances to find the person she had lost, to feel whole, and to feel normal again. She meets a man, who is quite great. He has his own scars and doesn't care about hers. He gets her to see herself as whole. You can feel the connection they have from the moment their eyes meet. They fall in love and have a HEA. This is a quick, sweet read that I didn't want to put down.I received an ARC of this book from the pub [...]

    18. Short and with potential that unfortunately doesn't seem to be realized. Faith and Bryce have a spark when they meet at Faith's new job. I get Faith's motivation but I just didn't really feel it. May give another a tryC provided for an honest review.

    19. FaithThis book touched my heart because I have a family member with breast cancer. I think it was nice how Hayes brought up the issues of the insecurities women face after they are in remission. Great read!

    20. there was no twist. The story was too fast No drama at all. No emotional to the story. but hey. It was free

    21. Loved itI can't wait for more. Some of the feelings of cancer. Totally spot on. It was a quick read. I would have loved longer

    22. (3) I received a copy via netgalley for an honest review. Review will be up on Boundless Book Reviews.
