    1. They say one picture is worth a thousand words, but is it worth a life? Steven Quintana made a mistake while on a military mission taking photos and it cost a young boy his life. He now takes celebrity photos in Hollywood, a harmless and lucrative career, or is it always harmless? When a budding Hollywood star is kidnapped, he finds his photos may have helped the kidnappers. This he can fix, maybe, but he didn’t’ expect the beautiful Julia Travers to be so opposed to his aid.…And the actio [...]

    2. This kind of thriller is not my usual read. But when our friend, Paul Marshall, told us that his pal Donald Bull had just published a book, I had to check it out. It's actually pretty good! Ian Bull has a great ear for the inner monologue of both main characters. Some of the characters lines are funny and fresh. I liked when Steven Quintana jumps off a tree and onto a balcony and mutters to himself that he is like a flying squirrel. It's fun that the action takes place in and around a movie set [...]

    3. Why hasn't anyone written a thriller about a paparazzo before? Well never mind that, Donald Bull has, and it's a cracking good one. Throw in the special forces background he'd rather forget, a beautiful actress held captive, a luxury yacht in the Caribbean, and…well, all I can say is block out a day on your calendar because you're not going to want to put this one down. Great debut thriller from Ian Bull, and I can't wait for more.

    4. Excellent adventure! This is a fun read, very interesting ,grabs your attention right away,I couldn't put it down until the end! Great characters, interesting backstory and a wonderful ending! Will definitely look for more from this author

    5. I am a sucker for Caribbean adventures. This one took a little time pulling me in with back story, but there was never a shortage of drama, angst or need for both lead characters ace photographer Steven Quintana and huge movie star Julia Travers to prove themselves. Much more than that, to redeem themselves. They not only need to outgrow their pasts, their unhappiness with their present stations in life . . they reach to point where they must survive! This fast paced novel will satisfy action/adv [...]

    6. There were parts of this that really mode with pace and thrill but also parts that just limped along. I wouldn't say it was bad it just didn't quite hit the spot for me

    7. A picture is worth a thousand words or you would think. This thriller will have you turning pages well into the night . In this novel we meet Steve Quintana , an Army Ranger , photographer . Until the day when something goes wrong and he witnesses a murder of a young boy. Now he is taking pictures of Hollywoods elite a list celebrities . Thinking that this is easy money , until the day he takes pictures of Julia Travers. A up an coming starlet. Who is kidnapped and the kidnapper used Steve's pic [...]

    8. Steven Quintana, an ex Army Ranger reconnaissance photographer witnesses something happen while on a mission which he can't get out of his head--recurring nightmares stalk him. He is still a photographer but now is one of the paparazzi getting photos of movie stars in California and being paid really good money for it. He has saved up almost enough to retire when he is offered a really huge amount to get one more photo of Julia Travers, a up and coming movie star. The last photo he managed to ge [...]

    9. Murder, rape, vengeance One chapter is from the standpoint of the female protagonist, a new movie star, and the next chapter would be from the standpoint of the male protagonist, Stephan, an ex-ranger who now makes his living by photographing as a paparazzi. Ordinarily this would make a story easier to read, but this is a story in which there are so many new characters in each chapter and it becomes so convoluted, that the reader can lose sight of the plot.It is definitely an action story, actio [...]

    10. Since the war, Steven Quintana has been running from his past. He decides to fill the hole in his heart by using his talent for photography to take pictures of celebrities. This backfires when a photo he has taken is used to cover up a kidnapping. He is then compelled to rescue the victim. Does he succeed or does he die trying? You will just have to read this compelling thriller novel to find out. I found this book to be a wonderful suspense novel filled with action, drama, loyalty, and humor. T [...]
