    1. Rating 4.5 StarsI rarely read many contemporary novels, but a friend recommended this one to me, and since it happened to be free, I decided to give it a read. This is a light-hearted, funny story with tons of laugh out loud moments. This is the first time I have read anything written by Donna McDonald, but it will not be the last! For an 80 page book it is packed with many delightful scenes for my reading enjoyment.Harvard professor, Dr. Finn Roberts, has just returned from an archaeological di [...]

    2. Review also found at kristineandterri/2I got this book as a free download on .Every once in a while you need a quick distracting interlude from the mundane every day chores. Sometimes you want a distraction in your reading material that will not require any mental exertion and this story does that. Sometimes you do not have the time to commit to a long read.It was a very short novella that provided all sorts of steamy bedroom scenes with a little bit of comedic plot. It certainly distracted and [...]

    4. Feel good bookHave reread this book too many times to count and now see I never reviewed!! It is a sweet story that makes you feel good and get silly inside. If you have never read any of Ms McDonald then start with this book. I am confident you will then read all of her love stories. They have become my friends.

    5. A very sweet tale of a misunderstanding leading to a romantic and deeper connection. When the right person crosses your path, is the risk worth the possible consequences??

    6. This was a comical read as well as steamy, would you accidently sleep with the wrong man? It could happen especially with identical brothers. Lisa is divorced wondering if she is always going to have a sensible life but gets the opportunity to do something completely out of character. A really good read with great characters it is a short novella but definitely one you would enjoy. I received this as a sign up gift and will definitely be reading more from this author.

    7. This short and fun novella is set up in a case of mistaken identity! How so?It's been awhile since Lisa have been with someone, so when Eric makes some advances, besides being younger than her, she doesn't feel any spark. But in a mishap of events, when she thinks she is meeting Eric for drinks, she is lead to believe he is waiting for her at his hotel room. Arriving there, she is surprised of how much she is attracted to him and she ends up sleeping with him. It turns up, it wasn't Eric after al [...]

    8. I have read another series by this author, that I enjoyed, so when I saw this was free, I decided to give it a try. I'm not 20 anymore, sometimes I get tired of books about 20 somethings and the predictability of them. This book is a second chance for both the characters, and it is refreshing. It is short and therefore lacks the fully satisfying feel of a full length novel. The development of the characters was ok for a shorter story; a few more lines here or there might have been welcome. The b [...]

    9. Quick, fun, and some nice banter even if a bit far-fetched.Do you need to go get checked out? You seem like you’re hurting all over today.” Lisa saw Martha looking at her with great sympathy. It suddenly struck her as incredibly funny, so she dissolved into laughter. “I know it’s been a while since you’ve seen me with a sex hang over, but I swear I’m going to live,” Lisa assured her. “I’m not dying. I just got laid really, really well last night. My body is just way out of prac [...]

    10. A very clever idea for a story. Donna McDonald has the knack of effortless writing which enthralls the reader and makes one wish for more.I loved the idea that there was an unintentional mix-up which led to a passionate affair between two people who were not expecting it. Oh, if only this were true in real life.Alls well that ends well - with a bit of loving inbetween. So if you like this kind of story, go for it!

    11. This is one of those sweet little stories, that gives you just enough to reel you in, pique your interest, and just when you want more, the author wraps it up in a tidy little package. A fun premise, with engaging characters, and tastefully done intimacy. This a a great story to give you a little breather between longer, more intense reads. I have always enjoyed Donna's work and look forward to more.

    12. This novella was so much fun! I really enjoyed the intense chemistry between the two main characters. The mistaken identity set-up could have been very cliche in the hands of a lesser author, but Donna McDonald's light touch made the series of misunderstandings fun and fresh. I love the heart and humor that she brings to all her stories.

    13. Yet another great read. This novella was just as fun to read as all of the others by Ms. McDonald I have read. It had everything I could have wanted to know and more. And it let me satisfied with how it ended. Ms. Mcdonald is by far my favorite author as she has yet to disappoint. I can't wait to get my hands on more of her work. Please keep them coming!

    14. Gifted by author for an honest review. Thanks to Donna McDonald for a quick lovely story. The sparks were igniting today inside and out on this 4th of July for me. Lisa went out for a casual dinner with Eric Roberts. A week later she climbs into bed with him except it is not Eric but his brother Finn. Wonderful love triangle with one side missing. Up beat, happy feeling, HEA read. Enjoy!

    15. I adore Donna's book and this one did not disappoint me at all. If you want to read a cute funny romance with the heroine being an older women who falls for a younger man this is the story for you. I smiled through this whole book. Thanks for beightening my day

    16. this was pretty disappointing. I was hoping for something short and sweet but nothing felt realistic - the setup of the plot (mixing up the brothers??, and who knows what the heck the author meant by "semi-identical"), the dialogue, the characters (very little substance). give it a miss.

    17. A wonderfully sweet (and HOT) story of finding yourself again. The constant POV changes were distracting and sometimes confusing. I enjoyed this story very much and will look for more from this author.

    18. This was a good short read. HOT twins and an older woman who gets caught between them. She chooses but the twins both any her.

    19. This was a rather comical read, who would think you would accidently sleep with the wrong man?? Well it happens. A really good, short novella. Suitable for anyone who wants a chuckle.

    20. Short and sweetDonna McDonald always shows women of a certain age are desirable and worthy even if she may feel otherwise. enjoyable as always, and a fan for life.

    21. It was okIt wasn't the best book I've ever read, but it was pretty good. I'd actually look forward to a sequel featuring the evil twin, LOL.

    22. I've loved all of McDonald's books. This one is a terrific short and sexy romance with a hilarious and unexpected "meet-cute".

    23. I really love reading any book by you. the writer is so brilliant. the way you bring across each individual characters. this is a brilliant book, would not go wrong.

    24. This was a quickie read. The connection between Finn and Lisa was explosively hot, but too many timeline errors and repetitive phrases made me pause and distracted me from the overall story.
