    1. Enjoyable series.Like the good and caring characters. Learning more about guns and rifles from these series. Wish I was living in those islands and diving with them. Jesse is helping to capture the drug and gun runner in Cuba. Didn't like the ending.

    2. 'm enjoying the Jesse McDermitt series by Wayne Stinnett for the most part. The story line is always intriguing with exciting action scenes and edge of your seat suspense.Fallen Hunter includes multiple step-by-step routes through the Florida Keys, characters continuously bringing boats "up to plane", name dropping of fish that I've never heard of before - sans descriptions and repeated morning or evening rituals - just like in the previous three books of the series that I've read to date. Typos [...]

    3. Jesse McDermitt returns in “Fallen Hunter”, Wayne Stinnett’s followup to his thoroughly enjoyable debut novel “Fallen Palm”. While attempting to help a threatened friend, Jesse discovers that these bad guys are up to something much more sinister than smuggling drugs. Complemented with a cast of unique and likeable recurring characters, tough guy Jesse leads another exciting adventure through the Florida Keys, Cuba and Cozumel. Replete with boats, beaches, babes, bad guys and bullets, t [...]

    4. This is from my husband who read this book. After his enthusiasm I think I will read it too!Having read Fallen Palm, I immediately downloaded Fallen Hunter, picking up another story about Jesse McDermitt. Like the first book, I found it impossible to put down. It was exciting and Mr. Stinnett has a way of drawing you in and keeping you guessing. I would readily recommend it, and I cannot wait for the next offering from this author.

    5. Well, now I am totally hooked. I was so hesitant after the first book but now I can't put them down. This book was filled with action, and strategy making, and characters with fascinating backgrounds. Yes, there was some romance but it was incidental to the story and was not "in your face" with sex scenes. It's about courage, fitness to the extreme, and special ops. I can't wait to start the next one.

    6. REVIEW OF AUDIOBOOK; JANUARY 15, 2018Narrator: Nick SullivanThese books are feel-good, comfort reads and while not among my thriller author favs, I know what I'm getting when I listen to one - I love Jesse's island home in the Keys, the friendships he's made and the fact that his tiny little island is a kind of refuge for the motley bunch, which includes Navy SEALs and even a Portuguese Water Dog named Pescador. There's not only action and thrills, the author also injects human interest stories a [...]

    7. A Non-Stop, Action-Packed Para Military Novel! With a lot of similarities between Randy White and Wayne Stinnett, each stands alone as a master craftsman in developing their own riveting tales of former specially trained military/undercover black ops and variety of unique characters and scenes based on their own real life experiences. Blended with the fast action are an interesting sprinkling of technically correct bits of information. Student's works are always a great read!

    8. Great storiesRetired elite Marine sniper, Jesse is now a Charter boat captain who takes on missions for Homeland Security. On his own island, he and a colorful bunch of friends make up a formidable team of terrorist terminators. Get a feel for the laid back island vibe, juxtaposed with the danger lurking behind the next adventure.

    9. My First McDermittThis is my first Jesse McDermitt novel, but definitely not my last! The depth of information in the locations, the description of the coral reefs and the watercraft all let you know the author has been there and you get to be there with him! I will be going back with him for another wild ride!

    10. Fast paced If you like reading about folks a military backgrounds working in scenarios around homeland security, this author is for you. With a touch of politics thrown in to see how it can impede security.

    11. Everything right .Superb quiet hero for lovers of Florida and the Keys. Delightful remenicences of the marine life around a strong story. A joyful read thats unusual in a powerful plot

    12. This was a good read but Jesse has to be one of the luckiest guys alive. I love the island life he lives and envy him. He and his merry band appear to wreck havoc on the gun and drug trade and also take out a few terrorists.

    13. 'Fallen Hunter' was another great story in a fantastic series. The story line pulled me in and I couldn't put it down. Full of thrilling scenarios, adventure, amazing locales and some pretty awesome characters. I can't wait to read more. A must add to your tbr list.

    14. Another good bookI am enjoying these books except for the disposable nature of the female love interests in the series. The author write a good romance with a relatively fleshed out female character but treats her like a prop to advance the plot.

    15. Bleh. The plot rambled like my drunk roomate talking to someone on the bus. Writing is mediocre, characters are entirely cliche. Won't be reading another in this series, or author.

    16. Don't be a woman and get close to Jesse. Bad for your health. Still a cross between Stone and Doc more so in this installment.

    17. Jesse and crew kick bad guy butt again. A great deal of description of boats and bodies of water that can seem repetitive at times.

    18. Great book! Read several others in the series but missed this one. Fallen Hunter shows how Jesse met a lot of his friends. Plenty of action.

    19. Fun read!Very similar to works by W.E.B. Griffin. A little slow starting but a really well done story. I'll definitely be looking for more works by this author.

    20. Great funOne of Mr. Stinnett's best. He writes a great adventure. I appreciate his perspective on the Marines and Navy. Semper Fi

    21. Great Read for BoatersThird book in the series was my favorite so far. The author definitely gives you a feel for island life. Look forward tot he next book.

    22. Fallen HunterThis is a top class action yarn , with believable characters. As this is "first time"experience ,for me,I look forward to the Rest of the series.

    23. Fallen HunterThe biggest and baddest guy that knows everything about everything. Absolutely no sense of reality. Probably a good book for an adolescent male.

    24. To all my fellow jarheadsI chose this rating it is a wellDeserved one being a grunt myself also put some time on gitmo a lot of good memorys and brother marines forever

    25. Great ReadAction packed with lovable characters and wonderful descriptions of the scenery and activities. Enjoyed this story and looking forward to another with Jesse

    26. enjoyed a lot of island history, have always loved the Keys especially Key West. conch native at heart. looking forward to visit cuba
