    1. This was a book that almost every married woman can relate to, at some points in their marriage. While not all husbands are like Verne, there are times in a woman's life when she's feeling unappreciated. If nothing else, Pearl will make you feel lucky to not be in a marriage like this. 2. Pearl is a novel about a 30 year old, who after being married to a man that she met when she was 18, finally decides to do what she wants to do. Pearl realizes that everyone around her knows that she is too safe and would not do anything out of the ordinary. I loved the story but it lasted too long, and when she finally does leave, there is only two pages to indulge in its beauty. 3. This book kept my interest fairly well. I could see why some could get bored with it easily. I think how you view the book depends on where you are in life and whether or not you can relate to the story line.

    4. Easy, quick read and good except the ending was too short leaving you wanting more and disappointed because there isn't more.
