    1. Meh. It was a quick read that was ok. I think the first book in the series was better. I found myself skimming this one to get it done.

    2. I had such a great time reading The Change, the first book in this series, so I was excited to jump into the sequel. It did not disappoint. There's a ton of action and a gripping story that never let up. It's extremely fast-paced. The story picks up a couple months after the ending of The Change. While The Cure might could standalone, I'd really recommend reading book one first. Part of this story took place in the Mexican jungles which was an intriguing setting. A couple of new people join the [...]

    3. I had so much trouble reading this book. I kept closing the book to do other things. The premise of the book is interesting and brings the main character into a new location. Personally, I felt it was a bit early in the series to move into a new Country when we've barely explored her current location. Although, the Renegade group seems to move constantly and never has a home. I do not like the fact that their hideouts are so easily found by the Emporium (bad Unbounded). So many negative things a [...]

    4. Another thrilling continuationTom find a out that who he thinks is his sister is really his mother and freaks out. The Mexico lab is attacked prisoners taken. Keene finds out some disturbing news.A lot of twists and turns later and we find info on a disc and some going after prisoners in New York. A different kind of series full of adventure but you should read the books in order to knowvwhatbisbgoing on.

    5. This book is a good readI liked the book it moves fast with a. Lot of twists and turned the Actors in the script play well off of each other and make the story flow well, the plot was interesting but dragged in places, but kept me interested most of the time. I put this book down for a while and came back to finish to while looking for a new read and enjoyed the conclusion and kick off of the next installment.

    6. Nice paced actionThis book guides you through the story without much filler. It is interesting and the characters are believable. Of course the good guys win, but not without some losses.

    7. I loved this book had lots of adventure, danger and love. I cared about these characters and want to read more about them. I will certainly read more books by Teyla Branton.

    8. Unique, fast moving and fun story line. If you like engaging fantasy with great characters, this is a read for you.

    9. Ok, again slightly too much action and not enough breaks in between. fast paced and lively. easy read.

    10. Teyla Branton’s The Cure continues the adventureTeyla Branton’s The Cure, Unbounded Book 2, is an ambitious sequel to The Change. There are some new characters we meet while strange universe created in the introduction to the series is expanded along with the godlike abilities of the quasi-immortals. Again we see things through Erin’s point of view as she continues the wrestle with the reality of who and what she has become along with her origins and those who were important to her before [...]

    11. Even When You CHANGE, Some Things Remain the Same . . . Erin Radkey’s life has altered completely since her Change made her one of the Unbounded. Yet she has learned the hard way that some things never change. Greed. Over the centuries the long-lived Unbounded have divided into two groups, the Emporium who craves money and power and will do anything to achieve its ends, including experimenting on its own people, and the Renegades who protect humanity. Power. Now the Renegades are close to disc [...]

    12. Okay, so here is a new book series that I picked up this last week. The first book, The Change was free on a few weeks ago so I picked that up then but I didn't get to read it until this last week. Needless to say when I finished it, I was right back over at looking for the next book. Lucky me, the second book was out too. :) I love instant gratification. It should never be underrated. :)The first book, The Change, started out a bit slowly for me. It took awhile for me to become invested and " [...]

    13. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for and honest review. This review was written for Mind-Ventures.After finishing the first book in this series, the abrupt ending had me wondering what happened. The story stuck with me for several days after I finished it (I just love book hangovers!), so I knew I had to get my hands on the next book in the series. Want to know what I thought about the first book, The Change? Check out the review here.To begin with, if you are reading the books ba [...]

    14. Let's seeI 'paid' a whopping zero dollars for the first book and could hardly put it down. As soon as I finished the first book, I actually purchased and read the second. Yes, that's how much the first book had me liking it. I paid for the next in a sequel - FROM A FREEBIE. (I'm still in shock on this since I do not often read, let alone buy, the authors that I discover from a freebie.)What to say about the book? Do you need to read the first book? Yes, I don't think that this is a standalone bo [...]

    15. Tayla Branton has an uncanny ability to write with just enough intrigue to keep you wanting more without overwhelming the reader. Putting together action, romance, and cliff hanging mystery in just the right proportions, the reader is left anticipating the next novel in her series. As we follow Erin, along with all the other Renegades, it is impossible not to find yourself becoming attached to the characters and feeling the same excitement and loss they experience. Hoping that romance will bloss [...]

    16. After spending a total of fifteen (15) years in prison, my ability to figure out plots and sub-plots has been well honed. What makes Teyla's books so captivating for me is that although she paints a vivid picture, along with the emotional aspect, I have not totally guessed all the outcomes correctly. I Love That! There is not too much worse for me than a book that is either repetitive to add pages or so simple and predictable that it insults my intelligence. I am pleased to be writing this revie [...]

    17. An interesting continueation of the first book unbounded. I have to say this book was a bit of a let down as far as the plot went I felt that there was alot of running around with out acomplishing very much at all. It was an interesting read for sure and I will defenetley read the next in the series, that said I felt too little actually happend, the charachters didn't do any growth and the main heroine well she was more or less constantley having to be saved by everyone and every time she tried [...]

    18. A bit more action and gore than in the first book but I still loved it. Overall the plot is amazingly captivating and passionate. I love all the twists and turns. Romantically speakingErin and Ritter, there's a lot of drama and lust while with Keene is more of a blooming of friendship and something possibly more permanent despite his mortality. In fact, it's one of the downsides of this book for me. I really like Keene maybe even more than Ritter and its quite difficult to wrap my mind around hi [...]

    19. Teyla Branton's The Cure, Unbounded Book 2, is an ambitious sequel to The Change. This book introduces new characters and expands our knowledge of the universe described in The Change. Erin continues to wrestle with her new found abilities and the reality of who and what she has become.Overall I am very impressed with Teyla's ability to keep the series moving along yet fill in blank spots if this was the first book of the series you were reading. Continuing on from the first book Teyla has woven [...]

    20. I wasn’t disappointed by this sequel to The Change. From Oregon to Mexico, the Unbounded characters set out on another dangerous mission to help save Stella’s mortal husband who is dying. The interaction between characters and love interests was awesome and kept me on the edge of my seat biting my nails. Don’t’ plan on eating bon-bons while you read this; it’s much too intense for that! This is a well-written book that starts and ends well—without the hated cliff-hanger that doesn’ [...]

    21. I'm more angry then disappointed. It's a great story and I really want to know what will happen. I want to read about it but I just can't. Unbounded, humans that are near immortal, having a life expectancy of 2000 years, divided into good and bad battling against each other but both having one goal in common, to guarantee the survival of their kind by securing their offspring that have the active gene to become unbounded. Everything is there to make a great book but as far as I'm concerned the i [...]

    22. Amazing and Full of ActionI've got to say I've not read many books where romance and sparks didn't also include sex scenes but this series has none of that and it was still amazing as Hell. It's so full of action and suspense that keeps you on your toes you don't even realize there's no hot scenes to pass some pages. Ritter is quite the alpha male. Keene isn't so bad himself. Erin is growing so much in her skills and abilities. It'll be great to see how she continues to progress. All the charact [...]

    23. This potato chip series is trending in a lusty glances and sweaty nethers sort of direction, which is boring. I thought this was supposed to be light science fiction but it's evidently a romance. Immortal do-gooders and bad-doers, a genetic mystery, action, violence, travel, suspense. All it needs is a mutually satisfying fuck or three. But no. Because the unbound have unstoppable eggs and sperm, they're abstinent except for the occasional in vitro or artificial insemination. Yawn. And everyone [...]

    24. I received an electronic copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my review. I absolutely love this series. I love the unique abilities the Unbounded possess. I love the character development as the characters become more complex throughout the series. I fall in love with each and every character. The love triangle creates an interesting element to the book.(view spoiler)[ I almost cried when Tom died. Although he was a cruel character, I felt sorry for him b [...]

    25. This book had some really great action and a premise that pulled me right in. I was so surprised at how much I liked this book, but especially the main character Erin. She's strong and feisty, yet still unsure of her new powers. She wants to protect her family and friends, yet knows she's not invincible. It was a memorable journey for her and for me as a reader, and to be honest, I want to get the first one so I can go back and see how this all started. I'm excited for this series to continue.

    26. Other reviewers have pointed out that yes, there are times in these books that are cheesy, but I actually enjoy the lightheartedness this adds to the series in the midst of the action. I am so glad the characters' stories were continued in book #2. The overall plot of the war between the two sides of the Unbounded was continued, as well as the old characters' individual struggles. New characters were added as well, which provided new interesting "super powers" to learn about. Fun, addictive, and [...]
