    1. We're always searching for easy answers to difficult problems and this book has them. Francois Reeves, a cardiologist from Quebec, says we need to stop consuming crap, especially soft drinks, and start planting more trees. Could it be any easier? The first half of the book really concentrates on our poor eating habits and how these ruin both our own health and the environment while the second half addresses the environment specifically and how that impacts human health. VerdictFrançois Reeves' heart (ha) is in the right place, and Planet Heart does have a few well-argued and fascinating chapters, but the book suffers due to large swathes of poor sourcing, some notable factual errors, grammatical errors, and poorly-crafted writing. Most of the book is a waste of time for anyone in the environmentalism choir, full of bits of facts and information on diet and random factors which other people -- such as David Suzuki, who Reeves almost worships -- already wrote ab [...]
