    1. Very informative! Covers a wide variety of crystals and even shows pictures of them raw and tumbled. Each listing gives you the crystal system, the chemistry, the hardness, source, chakra, zodiac sign, and the benefits. Some include planetary correspondences as well. I love that the book is divided by color and the edges of the paper are color coordinated to the section. Makes looking up a crystal VERY easy. A must have for anyone looking to use crystals for healing and/or their spiritual practi [...]

    2. Lots of information. Divides crystals by color; covers all the basics (hardness, source, chakra associations, etc); also gives a paragraph of metaphysical information on each. Some showed photos of the raw form, others of tumbled. I wish it it showed both for each crystal - then it would be 5 stars for me.

    3. Great, fairly comprehensive resource for the metaphysical/spiritual use of crystals organized primarily by color.Covers origin of the stone, many pictures for visual identification, and uses, relations, etc.

    4. This book was great. It's a great book on crystals. Full of very useful information. Anyone interested in crystals and their uses should get a copy of this book. I continue to look things up in it.

    5. Excellent book on crystals, great information, fantastic pictures, all crystals covered with corresponding chakras, ailment stones covered for healing, a must have reference tool. Much better than the crystal bible . The only drawback is it is difficult to handle due to its large size and the Gem essence making should be covered in brief (if they name it Encyclopedia) , but yet a great book. Buy it and you will love it

    6. This book was a great help to me in finding crystals by color which is organized by crystal color. I also learned about healing crystals and our chakras crystals. I found a lot of advice with the healing crystal on how to use them and also cleanse and activate them. I highly recommend this book to add on to your library.I was given this book from Quarto Knows for an honest review.

    7. Fairly useful, mostly for chakra healing and just general knowledge. This would be handy to have around for a reference. You will find no elemental correspondences in this book, but you will find loads of great photos and good general knowledge. (Saga Culina)

    8. Great resource for anyone interested in the healing and spiritual uses of crystals. Lots of great pictures organized by color make it easy to look up stones you might already have but don't recognize by name. I bought this book to keep in my office, and I'm sure I'll refer to it again and again.

    9. I love this book!!The pictures in it are wonderful!I wish there were more, but they are in bright colors!YES!

    10. This review originally appeared on The Magical Buffet website on 04/24/14.As you guys may recall, I am a lady that loves me some crystals, gemstones, and minerals. I was excited by the historical insights offered by “A Lapidary of Sacred Stones” by Claude Lecouteux and Isidore Kozminsky’s “Crystals, Jewels, Stones: Magic & Science” but I was downright thrilled to be given access to the practical, revised and expanded edition of, “The Encyclopedia of Crystals” by Judy Hall. You m [...]

    11. This book is quite cheerful because of it's bright colors. I just got it at my doorstep today and I want to thank Becky for sending the book.It has a -I would like to say- complete list of different crystals. They are color coded with a glossary, index, and introduction. For each crystal, there is a listing name; crystal system; chemistry; hardness; source (where it's found); chakra(how it's helpful for the soul or sometimes relaxation; number; which zodiac sign that it fits; the planet; and wha [...]

    12. I received a free copy through .---Wow the pictures of the crystals are so vibrant and stunning, so much so that I felt like I could see every tiny detail and just reach out and grab it.It is very information, everything you would ever want to or need to know about crystals is in this encyclopedia. I never knew there was so much crystals nor the meaning behind most of them. It has certainly opened my eyes and mind to the wonders of geology. The little tid bit about the chakra and healing propert [...]

    13. So much of this book gets 5 stars, the size of the book, the photos of the crystals, the layout, how the book is divided, the info of how crystal are formed in the earth/chemistry. I take off two stars because, based on the title I thought I would be getting an Encyclopedia of Crystals. The title should have added with "focusing on healing" If so, I would have known that's really all this book is about and would not have ordered it. I was hoping for more on the crystal them selfs - how to grade/ [...]

    14. The book categories each crystals by color, which makes it incredibly easy to look them up. Some of the information included under each stone are Crystal System, Chakra, Number, Zodiac Sign, and Planet. It also includes a paragraph on their physical, spiritual, and/or emotionalhealing properties. There are several books on crystals in my library but, this is the one I finding myself reaching for first.

    15. This book changed my life & helped me to write my first children's fantasy book! This book is amazing & is a must for any crystal enthusiast. There is so much useful knowledge in this book & there are many pictures to go along with the very detailed & very helpful information. I will be using this book for the rest of my life.

    16. I found this book to be an interesting read. However, I feel like a lot of the information was borderline opinion based (As is this review, keep in mind!). I also feel that, though it was informative in a lot of areas, it could have used more fact based data than what it did.

    17. Readings this book was like I died and arrived in heaven!!!! So beautiful many gorgeous crystals!!!! Oh my God, I wish I had them alld so much information about them. An amazing booka must read for all the crystals lovers!!!!!! 5 out of five stars

    18. Gorgeous pictures sorted by color of the crystals. 250 pages with one to three different stones per page covered quite a variation. I just wish there were more details about the stones and their usage.

    19. It's a pretty interesting book about crystals. They are separated by color which is easier to distinguish. I definitely will be looking through this quite often to find new crystals that could interest me and to know how to properly cleanse, activate and use crystals.

    20. great pics but didnt like the layout of the book. they way they categorized the stones was a lil confusing to me.

    21. My number one go to crystal book for my practice and business! This is a great color coded book with lots of crystals for that beginner seeking a worthwhile resource.

    22. Comprehensive and color coded. I notice that she uses the same pictures again in other books. So, not a lot of variation in information. This can be both good and bad.
