    2. I loved the horsey element of this story, and the heroine who is unapologetic for who she is (i.e. not a standard simpering female of the age) I would have loved to have seen some more witty dialogue which would have brought this book up another star, but overall a nice easy book to read. For those that are sticklers to the reality of the time, this books takes some major liberties- you have been warned!

    3. This was ok. Only ok. It was my first Mills and Boon in ages - and I picked it up as an experiment. And it was fine. I didn't hate it, I didn't love it - but it's just not as good as most of the other historicals that I usually read. So as an experiment it's not a total success - but I won't rule out other M&Bs.
