    1. In it’s most basic form, this is a large-scale take on Beauty and the Beast. Luckily, this book is so much more than that. It’s got fantasy and magic; a curse, witches, and men that are literal beasts. At its heart, it’s a love story. It’s a detailed novel (455 pages on the Nook) set in a time and place that makes you realize it’s not a modern world. Beasts and Maidens left me wanting to read more by this author. The imagination and thought that went into this story is incredible. I wo [...]

    2. I am really glad that I have read this book. It was a wonderful adventure about giving equal rights to everyone, no matter what they look like. This book is wonderfully written, and the characters are so great. I love how M.E Timmons made our main character both strong and weak. I was a lot of fun to read, and I do recommend everyone to read this book.

    3. The book was very cliche, and you could kind of tell what was going to happen within the first few chapters of the book. It could have been better I believe, if everything didn't seem like it was all so easy. The main character ended up with almost everything she needs and wants in the end and throughout the story. Everything just seemed to work out too well, except for a few plot twists.

    4. This was an interesting retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Though I enjoyed reading it, I think there were a few too many characters and too many sub-plots going on and that took away from the overall story for me.

    5. It was a cute story about the Beauty and the Beast retelling. I liked it alright. It would probably be more like 3.5 stars, but I put 3. My biggest beef is that she didn't end up with who I wanted her to.

    6. I liked the story but wished it had more depth of characters and their interactions. Quick and easy read.
