    1. The Undead series is all about survival, some heart pounding action, gore, lots of mishaps, quirks, black humour, lots of swearing and of course British politeness and mannerisms in between brutal hacking of zombies, shootout with gangs, some confrontation with feral kids and more swearing. The only thing missing to make it truly British is tea, biscuits and a cold pint! Actually, this series reminds me of the hilarious horror/comedy Shaun of the Dead! It's day three of the zombie apocalypse and [...]

    2. Well, this was terrible. Day 1 and Day 2 were pretty great. I had some issues with the choppy/weird writing (and still have issues, some sentences just didn’t make sense in any way), and maybe some other smaller things, but let me just tell you that Day 3 was terrible. Not only did it bring a full-time Dave (urgh, terrible character) with it, but also carnage (really, was that needed), bowel movements (I don’t need to know how much came out of his ass, nor do I need to know the smell, thank [...]

    3. Day three was such a dichotomy. One minute I was agog at the happenings on the page, the next giggling at the haplessness of Howie or the ways of Dave. Speaking of Dave, he has to be my favorite character so far and I cannot wait to see more of him as the days progress. 5* again for Mr. Haywood. I cannot believe how close to the bone or how great these episodic books are becoming. Roll on day 4, let's do this!

    4. Day one & two were sooo good then day three. I can deal with fast Zombies but no way can I deal with zombie virus that learns, nor can I deal with zombie animals (eye roll, really). I'm giving up on this series.

    5. Still loving the story and the characters. Can't say too much because I will give stuff away. On to the next book.

    6. I've got to stop reading these so fast! It's NaNoWriMo and I need to be writing my OWN book! That being said.I just bought Day Four.

    7. Just another fun day in the life of Mister Howie and Dave during the zombie apocalypse. Although I enjoyed this day, I think Day Two was the best of the three. But I just love the interaction between Dave and Mister Howie. And the author has just the right mix of humor in the midst of all the killing -- both humans and zombies.Bring on Day Four. Please!
