    1. The plot was confusing and a little thin in places. Like others I think I expected more from Isaac's story. I will read the others in the series. I hope there is little or no or no more appearances of Elder Wade and his mate because I also found them annoying!

    2. 2.5 stars!!! I expected more from Isaac's story. The interference of Elder Kevin Wade and his ditzy, in-denial mate Annabel (carson and Isaac's mom) is getting really tiresome. Their children should just sever ties with them altogether. They cause their own children life threatening harm and grief that the other characters just look foolish by continuing to communicate with them. Carson/Brody, Soren/Daniel and Isaac/Chantay should just leave and start their own pack or they deserve to be conned [...]

    3. 3.5 I have to agree with another review regarding Elder Wade and his wife Annabel. They are getting very tiresome and I'm sick of both of them. Hopefully now that all their kids are mated we won't see them again. I can't believe that any of their kids still even talk to them. (they shouldn't) After all they have done a little I'm sorry doesn't cover it. All the kids need to stick together and tell them to take a hike. Neither one deserves another chance.I was really hoping the kids would finally [...]

    4. 4.5 (Damn you, you non-existent half ratings! I want you!)I actually REALLY loved this book.but Elder Wade royally pissed me off on how much he tried to meddle into Issac's affairs. Otherwise WHAT an awesome twist!! I really look forward to the next book!!

    5. Some of the plots seemed thin and the parties seemed overly confidence of their capabilities. (view spoiler)[I mean, at one point, they infiltrated a warlock coven which is their stronghold. And they seemed to only bring only a couple of people who can deal with magic against the whole coven? Sound idiotic to me. (hide spoiler)]Besides that. This is one of the ugliest cover I have ever seen.

    6. There was definitely more of a story than some in the same genre but I made the mistake of reading out of order. While I wasn't totally lost, I think reading some f the previous books would of helped my enjyment

    7. 2012 Review:Yeah, this one just wasn’t very impressive. Whereas the previous volume evoked a sense of security for the overall background that had been missing before, here all of that went to pieces. I am really not a fan of overwhelming enemies and so forth. And the climactic scene near the end here? Was solved through “the power of love”. Blah. It was Sailor Moon, pretty much. :PEven the sex scenes did not quite work and just felt overly exaggerated, superlatives flying around like whoa. [...]

    8. Addicted to this series because each is so much worse than the one before and #10 disappoints in all possible ways AND has the worst cover so far. Yay! Can't wait for the next one to see how much less effort the author can possibly put into the formula. The really painful thing is that in the hands of someone else, this overall story idea could be an epic erotic urban fantasy series. Shape-shifters coming out of the closet in all possible ways, inter-species cross-breeding, magic, myths, opposing [...]

    9. This was great for series furtherance but Isaac and Chante pretty much bored me. We're told about the great conflict of sheep/wolf within Isaac but apart from (view spoiler)[ the warlock curse (hide spoiler)] we don't really see it. He seems mostly wolf. I'm looking forward to the next book and seeing who Reed's mate is.

    10. It's not a bad book, it's a good story. My guess in front of some bad reviews is that we like these books so much that we expect more and more from the next ones and then we kind of get disappointed when our hopes are not achieved. Not perfect, but I liked it.

    11. I too expected a bit more from Issac's story. I didnt at all like the interference from elder wade or the stupidity of Annabelle. The plot was at times confusing because of the lack of sense. Hopefully the next installment follows more behind the previous in this series.

    12. I agree with others who have said that they were expecting more for Issac's story and that I'm tired of Kevin and Annabel interfering with all of the shifters. I've been really enjoying this series, but the more eager I am to finally read someone's story, I feel a bit let down at the final result.

    13. First in the series I really had trouble finishing The romance felt rushed and not fully developed. Hope the next one is better.

    14. 2.5 starsNice story but there were some parts that was irritating to read. As a reader I wasn't as attached to these two as I was with the other characters in the story.
