    1. Worked well for what I needed: a jumping off point for choosing which First Lady to read about first. Not superbly written, but good broad-strokes facts, good summaries. Some fun anecdotes. The bios of living First Ladies are obviously either written by their staff, or pulled from some other controlled source. The writing styles there deviated remarkably from the other entries, and read less like bios, more like biased campaign material. An entertaining, easy read.
