    1. ***Read as part of the free Don't Read in the Closet: Volume Two anthology. Story #18***GaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahThis could have been sooooo great! I liked what I could see from the idea (better: what I figure as the idea) behind this story. It just does not have enough space within these few pages. Which leaves the story very shallow.4 stars for what I think was the idea.2 stars for what I got.Makes 3 stars all together.

    2. ** 2,5 finding home stars **Gahhh, this could have been so much better. I liked the premise of this story, it just didn't quite follow through. I feel like the author had a great idea in her head, but translated into words some of it got lost so the end result mostly makes sense in the author's eyes. Like only half the story got written down and the rest is inside the author's head. As a reader I felt something was missing. Too bad, though. And how did this story get from the prompt picture below [...]

    3. The year was 2200 and the United States Military had created its best plan to lower the number of troops dying in battle, and unleashed its newest weapon on the world: the Robot Battalions. These were robot soldiers who could kill whole villages, towns, and cities, in mere minutes. But there was one small glitch in the system that wasn’t discovered until half the earth had been demolished and the soldiers had turned towards home. Somewhere along the way they learned to think for themselves, an [...]

    4. This is a fascinating story! Incredible world building and throughout it all I felt the chemistry and the connection between Ethan and Sebastian. It was a nice slow build on all levelsI especially enjoyed the stolen moments, the moments of silent communication and connection. The smallest touch, finger to finger felt HUGE! :D Ethan's ring is a VERY nice touch. ;) VERY!

    5. Great story about the future of earthter the robots have tried to take over. Sebastian and Ethan were great characters who finally found someone they were comfortable talking with after years of fighting and being mostly alone. Great story and very satisfying ending that I didn't see coming.

    6. What a fantastic sci-fi story - wow!! Ethan was so sweet and to learn what a crappy father he had, grrr! Loved how committed Sebastian was and protective toward Ethan. There were so many unique elements included (the "tree" people, ring, grandmother, etc.) in this story. Awesome:) Thank you!!!

    7. This was just fantastic! I loved the world and the setting that the author created, very original. I loved the hologram, who was just adorable, and loved the two MC, especially Ethan and his changing eyes Wonderful story!

    8. Story Prompt: I caught sight of these two and I just have to know what's the story behind this tender moment. Any chance you can help me out?

    9. 4.5 starsI love sci-fi/futuristic romance stories and this was wonderful! The changing eye-color was a great way to hint at Ethan's unusual parentage. I also really liked the message behind the ring too! Thanks for writing this Jordan!

    10. The human world was taken over by robots and Sebastian and Ethan have to escape with their unit. Their relationship develops in the way to a new planet. Their connection is so deep and emotional I could almost grab it. A great read in an interesting world.

    11. Don't Read in the Closet: Volume TwoMy Rating System:* couldn't finish, ** wouldn't recommend, *** would recommend, **** would read again, ***** have read again

    12. Pretty good short. I liked the world building and the characters. I did feel slightly confused at times but I really enjoyed the overall story.

    13. A great little sci - Fi story. This was well written with not too much tech for those who don't like it. The characters were quite sweet and the ending was lovely
