    1. Add the elements of love and friendship, a contentious presidential campaign, a homegrown- terrorist war on West Virginia’s mountain top mining, and then mix in key events like 9/11, the Bosnian War, and Hurricane Katrina--and you’ve got the backdrop for G.P. Schultz’s new novel, The Kennedy Club. "There are many books that are called "Epic" in nature, yet few that actually live up to that esteemed billing. I am happy to say that the superb novelist G.P. Schultz' THE KENNEDY CLUB is one of [...]

    2. Thank you First-Reads and ! Mr. Schultz has written a novel that is engrossing, entertaining and filled with "edge of your seat" excitement. His main character, Jack Covington, is the kind of politician many of us would follow today. The small group of Harvard students sets off on a journey to elect a future President. They center their lives on this goal. Everything they do is undertaken with that in mind, even risking and ruining their personal happiness. For Jack Covington stands for taking A [...]

    3. I have become a G.P. Schultz fan for life. I was mesmerized by the story from the first paragraph and found it hard to put down. The Kennedy Club offers a bit of American history mixed with the troubles that our country currently faces, along with the right amount of politics. I became immediately invested in the characters and argued with their thoughts and ambitions all along the way. This book contained the ultimate love story, and I found myself rooting for their happiness until the very las [...]

    4. The Kennedy Club was very entertaining. I loved all the historical background with the mix of the characters. The characters were likeable and I was rooting for them all to find happiness at the end. The premise of a group of friends from college working together to get one of their members to become President really held my interest because that is how our political system works. This book also had a great love story between two of the main characters and I was reading till the very end to see [...]

    5. The Kennedy Club by G. P. Schultz promises excitement, epic events and the deep friendship of Harvard grads. Unfortunately, I was unable to finish the book. I finally gave up at the end of chapter 4. The author sent me a copy to review. The main characters, Jack Connolly, Coop Davis, Emily Smith and a handful of other meagerly defined characters, trade sexually non-witty comments and start adventures that miraculously fall into place.Jack Connolly and Coop Davis meet Emily Smith one day on the b [...]

    6. "The Kennedy Club" by GP Schultz was given to me free from librarything. I received it in the beginning of May and kept putting off reading it. Well, I shouldn't have. It was a pretty good book. There were only two things I didn't like about this book: Schultz used the word ambition waaaaaay too much. I started to think about getting a thesarus and finding a new word for ambition, but I was too lazy. I just let it annoy me. The other is I never came to like, Jack, one of the main characters. Jac [...]

    7. Another incredible book by G.P. Schultz! The Kennedy Club was fantastic! It was entertaining, page turning, attention grabbing right from the first page to the last. I love the characters. They were funny, witty and enjoyable to read about. The politics mixed with history events was magnificently mixed in the story. I cried at parts and they laughed at myself. I highly recommend this book to everyone who likes good entertainment. Well done Mr. Schultz and thank you!

    8. I had a couple of problems with this book. First, the print is so tiny. Like really tiny. I had a hard time reading it. Second, the constant references to the Kennedy family just annoyed me. I know that they are basically the basis for the storyline, but, still, the references were a little much. However, beyond those problems, the author told the story in a light and easy way that made it flow nicely. The characters seemed real and truthful. Not a bad book for a day at the beach.

    9. This book was captivating from the beginning. As a reader I was emotionally invested in each character and wanted them to all end up with the happiness many of them longed for. I loved the mix of history with the spice of romance. G.P. Schultz does an amazing job of keeping you interested through out the book.

    10. I found myself thinking that the characters and plot were so unrealistic that I was unable to finish this book.

    11. Great book! Could not put this book down and sad that it is over! This book has a little bit of everything from politics to romance! Great summer read!
