    1. I was thouroughly pleased when they put these books in groups. Becuase I'm a serious fan girl of the series and love rough and tough vampire men as much as the next vampire crazy, I've read all the books and feel a review for all of them is just a bit obsessive. But onto the good stuff. I love JR Ward's vampire series, and mostly for the fact that she does a good job of stripping the mystique of vampires and puts them into a new world that still intersects with our own reality. Though a lot of h [...]

    2. This series is wonderful. The fantasy, the possibility and the romance. Oh yeah and the mouth watering sex of course. Great writing and an uncanny ability to keep you begging for the next book.

    3. So I’m late to the party on this series--being a Fan of the Fang, some Twitterfriends turned me on to it and I am OVERJOYED! I cheated and got the first 4 books on download--no it doesn’t save you money, but it’s SO worth having the next one right there at the ready when you finish the previous one! I know a series ‘has’ me when I stay up until the wee hours because I just can’t put the damned thing down--this one did it for me! It’s rare in this day and age to come up with a new a [...]

    4. I love this series. Each book is about a different character and allows you to get lost in the exciting and passionate world of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. I especially love that all of the characters linger in each book. So while you get to focus in on one particular brother, you still get to read about the other characters you have grown to love. The plot of each book is focused around the brotherhood, which is a team of vampire warriors who fight against an evil race called the Lessers to k [...]

    5. I'm loving this series. It's sexy, inventive and involving. Each book focuses on one of the Black Dagger Brotherhood, a group of vampire warriors who protect their race, finding his mate. The back stories are moving and interesting, and there are plenty of intriguing subplots. This is a great group of characters and a whole new vampire mythology that doesn't rely on what we think we already know about vampires. I can't believe I'm just now discovering this fantastic series.

    6. Having abandoned this series when the Qhuinn/Blay drama started, it was incredibly hard to get back to it years later. My OCD would never allow me to skip a boo, and honestly knowing the series flaws was not encouraging.I was able to start, and just like the first time I read the series became hooked. I'm still not in love with Butch's book because Marissa annoys me, but the scenes with V made it worthwhile. The rest were just great reads though.

    7. I love this series!J.R. Ward doesn't disappoint. I can't put them down.e moment one book ends I have to pick up another! Sigh.

    8. I really enjoyed these books and love how each one tells a separate story but all the stories tie together. I will be reading the rest of this series very soon!

    9. If you're in need of fluff for a break this is an oldie but goodie. Lots of violent, wealthy, damaged men with fangs and women to save them from themselves. Author likes to name drop fashion, music and other possessions so it dates itself. Decent writing for romance even if I do get bored and skip a lot. Sometimes a gal just wants to escape.

    10. The BrotherhoodI do not have enough words for how much I love this series. Each and every story grabs you and keeps you turning the pages. J R Ward takes you in and brings the characters to life. I want to know each character in the books. To laugh and cry with each of them.

    11. I loved rereading and catching up with Wrath, Rhage, Zsadist, and Buch! These boys and the rest of the Brotherhood are some of my favorites!

    12. Great story!I loved all of these stories! Ward weaves a great tale!!! Enjoyed all the characters 😁 I look forward to testing book 5!

    13. AmaaaaazingThe books were so good. I couldn’t put it down. I’m obsessed with the he series! Can’t wait to read more!

    14. Brotherhood The Brothers are a very unique class of vampires bound to protect their race. Very strong and powerful males that any female would be proud to call their mate.

    15. Hooked on this!I am absolutely in love with this series! I can't get enough of it. I recommend this book to everyone 100%!

    16. Mi sono ritrovata con la voglia di riprendere questa serie, ho gli ultimi libri in attesa di essere letti, ma non sapendo da quale partire ho ricominciato da capo!Dark Lover ★★★★Lover Eternal ★★★★Lover Awekened ★★★★★Lover Revealed ★★★

    17. I love these books so much!!! I have a hard time putting them down. I get completely swept away with the characters and the story. I become part of their world. I highly recommend this series.

    18. 02/03/17 I just finished reading DL for the second time and it was as amazing as the first time. Although it was somewhat easier to follow seeing as I already know a lot of the story. Amazing characters and world development. Writing is awesome and the story plot is unique and intriguing. Love it! Off to read book 2 now.02/06/17 This was my second time reading Lover Eternal and I love this book and the whole series. Rhage and Mary are an amazing pair and I can't wait to read what J. R. brings us [...]

    19. Black daggerhood reviewsBooks 1-4 bundleSo I'm abit behind with this as only just got round to reading it, but so far I'm enjoying it, each book is set around a main charter and tells their story with each book you still read about the other characters so your kept up to date with what's going on in their life's.Based around vampires and royal vampires and lessers which are basically vampire hunters just not as sexy as you read about in other books.I enjoyed reading the fourth book more than the [...]

    20. J.R. Ward has created a very interesting world with a vast amount of depth that I suspect will only increase in its substance and vitality as the series progresses. The characters are raw and gritty and extremely profound. While there is a healthy dose of pulse pounding sex, the description's of which leave nothing but crystal clarity and an ache that is as visceral as it is unrelenting, there is also an intriguing plot and a dangerous seedy atmosphere that savagely engages the reader and render [...]

    21. Good ReadsI very much enjoyed the books. Ward writes quite well, clean, good editing so there were very few mental hiccups while reading. The story line was intriguing and well thought out. She writes the sex scenes with fantastic precision and does it without the need of vulgarity or being crass. A few of the relationships got a little tiring towards the end, which is the reason for the 4 stars. Butch's personality also became tiresome and annoying at times and Marissa flipped from naive to str [...]

    22. Umma whole less homophobia would go a long way in making this a better series :/ I get that it's supposed to be part of their tough image but really a "nancy"? Okay so that's my side rant and YES this thing gets a little twisted with four but still. I consider these my bubblegum books. I read them at the Y while exercising. They're fun and hard to put down. That said the writing way improved with these ones with three and four being my favorites. Three actually kept me up all night. And four was [...]

    23. I've read a lot of vampire books but this was so different that as I read, I found it hard to think of the vampires as vampires - they had a lot of the same issues that people normally have just trying to survive. The books were often funny, thrilling, and unpredictable; the antagonistic "Lessers" are no joke in their Van Helsing-like task to rid the world of vampires but, wow, getting to be one was gruesome and kinda funny, too.I didn't think I'd like this series - I got them for my fiancée wh [...]

    24. Ok, pretty typical hot-and-steamy paranormal romances. The vampire society is kind of like 19th century, with the men ruling, sorry, protecting the women and mostly running the show. There are aristocrats with their own society, and the brotherhood who are the ultimate warriors who protect the civilian vampires. The vampires only drink from vampires of the opposite sex, eat regular food also, but mostly can't go into the sun. There is also an opposing faction trying to exterminate the vampires - [...]

    25. It was more like 3.5 stars- that last book really got on my nervesAlso how is it possible that Beth can disappear from her old life with no problem- leaving a bunch of loose ends to tie up? How has she avoided running into her old friends, co-workers, etc.? I have the same questions for Mary and Butch. This is a major hang up for me in this series. Given the continuing story lines, I understand that these answers may be revealed later on, but it seems pretty unrealistic to not have some mention [...]

    26. SpellbindingRaw, honest, passionate. Whether true or not, I felt I was getting a glimpse into the inner torment of others. Torment that everyone goes through in relationships. Captivating glimpses into another world - that world as seen through the eyes of not just one person, but the same tableau from different angles. A world where being a bloodsucker is not just acceptable, but even desirable. Excellent escape from the mundane world!

    27. Better written than 50 Shades of Grey, but still requiring extensive grammatical attention (the author never met a full sentence that she liked), these books still warrant a read. The stories and characters are mesmerizing. You'll almost feel addicted. Don't start reading if you don't have time to keep going. Hot level: 8/10 (whereas 50 was a 12)Also, if you don't believe that good prevails over evil, and nothing is better than the love of a good woman, don't bother.

    28. OMG this was a great series, sex, fighting, leather, more sex! The first two books were like chocolate covered strawberries and sex lol so deliciuos and related!!! The third was good but I wanted more from the first books main characters and the four was a filler to me I understood the importance.
